The first awesome non-handheld Wipeout game since Wipeout 2097. Wip3out wasn't all that great, and Fusion was just fucking appalling.

The platform of choice for any Wipeout gamer over the past 10 years has been the PSP - Wipeout Pure and Wipeout Pulse were ace.

(for the record, I DO know that HD was simply a remix of the Pure and Pulse tracks, but it did an excellent job of it)

I think that all the people that hate this game because it's too hard should stop whining.

This game requires skill, something you shouldn't have heard off.

I honestly said "Holy shit this game is so hard!" when I got it, but I just kept training, and now I can win anytime an Eleminator session on Elite difficulty and Phantom.

After you can play the game, oh boy is it worth it.

I have to say I'm pretty underwhelmed by this game based on what I see. It's funny, these new consoles are capable of such wonderful visuals, but somehow the magic & art of game making has been lost over time. This just doesn't "feel" like Wipeout to me. The music doesn't stand up to the original, and I can't think of the right word about what seems wrong with the tracks. Too much "bling" perhaps?
