    ディスクにプリントできる機種欲しいなぁ…。

  • Nice.... This printer will save me from the ordeal of printing it to a sticker, accurate cutting and again precise aligning it to the target cd....

  • Where do u get the disc tray please send a link ;(

  • Where do i get the printer and disc tray please help !!!!!!!!!!??

  • I like how the disc is held far away so we can't see the imperfections

  • vlw..............

  • Does this work with brother DCP-130c printer ?????

  • thanks for the video,defcon2000, it helped me print cd's on my ip4300

  • my laptop has same feature...

  • very cool ive got a roll of 100 discs but no printer !!

  • good ink is so expensive nowadays, that was a waste

  • Is theres a printer that can print more than one cd at the same time?? maybe 10 cds at the same time and how much does it cost? What is the name for these blank cds i cant seem to find them

  • cooool!

  • I bought the tray off ebay for $25. The seller has all the information for disc printing including software updates and 5 easy steps for conversion. Great video, thanx...

  • I have an IP5200 and would like info on getting the tray and mod instructions. Also it seems like the HP white inkjet printable blank dics will work just fine.

  • i see that you need a special disc printer for this? how much does one cost.

  • what type of ink does it use? thank you

  • does those ink gets washed away if u wash the dvd or accidently dropped the dvd into water?

  • May I ask you a question ? it looks like you used a DVD / CD that has a white surface ? is it necessary ? and if white surface is needed then where do I find them ? please help

  • @CarolinaMuslims Search on Amazon "Taiyo Yuden Watershield." These are the best one's.

  • is that as packet

  • what's your printer

  • awesome dude. hey i wanna ask, are newer printer of today have that kind of capabilities? im tired of using pentel pen to mark my disks and its getting boring. T_T

  • @tos555 bastard you will need special dvds wich are printable. so you can burn your 42 games again hahahahaha

  • @Skyfighter89 HAHAHAHahaHAHAHAHahah LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • @pappa542 dont laugh. you need printable dvds

  • @Skyfighter89 lol

  • @Skyfighter89 hahahaha faaail!!

  • wow...nice

  • Another guy asks what the name of the CD is. Erh, it's an album called "test" by Defcon2000. Awesome music.

Seriously, does he mean what brand? That doesn't matter. You can print on any *printable* CD.

For clarification: This video isn't about the software. There's lots of programs (some freeware) that let you design CD covers. Google.

The video also isn't about some magic item that Defcon2000 had invented. Some printers simply come with a tray for CDs and this Canon is one of them.

  • I was going to answer some of the questions posted here (as I have a similar Canon printer), but I don't even understand what some people want to know.

So here's a dude showing a video of his Canon Pixma printing on a CD and someone asks if it works on his HP Deskjet. What is that supposed to mean? :D

Someone else wants to know how much this Canon printer is. Uh, pardon, but ever heard of Google? The price in your country is probably different anyway.

  • what kind of program do you use

  • Defcon2000 is it working on hp deskjet F2480 series ? please reply

  • how much is that thing? because i make music and i would like a cover but i dont know how.

  • wie heiß das CD

  • do u even need paper?

  • no, i prints directly on to printable media

  • There are some cds out there that are printable; they have a paper-like surface to them that you can stick in printers like this.

  • does it have a label paper or sticker?

  • Does this thing need ink? If so, how much it "spend" per print? =o

  • well obviously it needs ink v_v

  • NO it doesn't need ink, you have to piss in it LOL

  • bahahahahahaahahaha

  • @donniecatalano He asked probably because he uses Light scribe. You really didn't have to piss off.

  • I have the 5200R printer. Simply awsome

  • Awesome .. and fast!

  • thats way faster then my epson r300 ^^

  • is that a special one for printing? or i can buy a simple blank cd put it in and start printing? like a factory does?

  • "can i buy a simple blank cd put it in and start printing? like a factory does?"

    No.

"is that a special one for printing?"

    Yes.

  • hey thx for clearing that for me ;)

  • Just wanted to save you from printing on a non-printable CD and making a huge mess. ;-)

Printable ones are a bit more expensive, but the result looks great, almost photo like.

  • awesome

  • does it have it for 2009?

  • i got one of these last week brand new from canon! looking forward to using it for photos, looks sweet & didn't cos tme much.

  • is the ink expensive ? as opposed to ink ment for paper ?

  • sweet!

  • Thank You SOO MUCH!! nice vid.

  • THANX MY FRIEND

    VERY USEFULL VIDEO !!!

  • nice this prin i hop i'll buy at future the same or better than

  • whats the name of your cd labeling

  • what cd labeler software are you using? does it come with the CANON PIXMA IP5200?

  • Rub it with water on it.

  • OK i wana know if you had full ink cartriges howm any DVD prints you could do with an Canon Ip4600?

  • I dont know whats the best printer to go with :\

This entire time, I thought epson was the only thing capable of doing this.. hell, the printer I have now may be able to do this.. (i dunno yet)

But how much ink does this kind of thing take up?

  • Great help many thanks.

  • are u printing on a label which uve applied to the disc, or directly on the disc?

  • If you touch it when your hands are wet, the ink will be running like water because most inkjet printers has ink thats water solible.

  • I wonder if you could get some rattle can clear and spray a thin coat of clear over it, i've tried it on paper and it didn't smear/run

  • @TheSnake1588 Just curious, why would you touch anything electronic or made of paper when your hands are wet? :O

  • @TheSnake1588 Then print labels on a color laser

  • use lightscribe

  • HP Photosmart D5360 (My printer) is better at CD Printing as you can use 2 CD Sizes,

    1) Normal size

    2) Small size

You can only use 1 size on that

    My printer is also quicker

  • just use lightscribe

  • Can you say:

    SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW?

  • and EXPENSIVE, I have a LS burner

never used it because last I checked the discs are like 1.00 a piece (they may have come down since last year) and I burn so many discs that it would cost me a fortune

now if it's like a gift or something that you want to look really nice, yeah I can see that

though it DOES look pretty cool

  • how much does this cost?

  • I really want to see the results accomplished with the canon ip4500 as well.

  • I just brought an ip4500 thursday. All i can said is ok. Similar speed as this video. I felt the Canon 965i is alot quicker though.

    Anyway it did my job!

  • These primera bravo's are good but the ink is expensive - I bought a conversion kit that lets you use standard $10 cartridges in the machine instead of the $40 primera cartridges.

  • Inkjet CD/DVD printers are nice, but two problems 1 there expencive, 2 there ink hogs, don't get me wrong you can make some fantastic looking labels, I personaly would like to get Lightscribe or Just a monocolor Thermal Printer, Some People would want this to bootleg movies and trick people into thinging its the real deal. Shure you got the Cash Get a Inkjet, But most of us Just want Cheap and Effective and with Thermal and lightscribe it won't smuge when cleaning, But nice Video

  • Fast Dvd/cd-print, when it`is move !!!

  • Wonderfull video, Thanks from Turkey !

  • very cool, i want more :)

    5*

  • there is no glue or labels. These are ink jet printable discs.

  • In the USA there is a patent problem so they had to remove DVD printing from printers to comply with US Law. however by editing the firmware and getting a 3rd party tray US citizens can enjoy DVD printing :D

    Think before you type

  • I know, thats why I called it "hacking" insted of hacking.

  • Cant wait to try this, Im in the US so I have to wait for my cd tray to come from ebay.

ITs really easy to "hack your printer"

YOu just have to change it from US to Europe,

reinstall the drives(installing the Europe drivers)

and take off the plastic cover

  • by the way I have a canon pixma ip 4200

  • thanks this helped me!

  • Canon Pixma iP4200/iP4300 (approx. $130), iP5200/iP5300 (approx. $190). Very fast photo printing. They also have duplex printing )).

  • very cool, how much did u pay for it?

  • wow i want one hell yeah!!!

  • Wow! I want one. You say, its a Canon Copier? Where can you buy one?

  • If you live in the US you have to hack your Canon to do this.

  • THIS IS REALLY COOL!!! I just wanted to learn how this thing works and now I know you need a special printer for this :( Where can I find a printer like this color can color cds? How much is it worth?

  • So is this what you do when you have nothing else to do film yourself printing on a cd.

  • wow i so want one of those!

  • that is so coool, im buying a canon this time

  • Yes, but only with certain media (Taiyo Yuden Watershield, Imation Aquaguard etc. I think).

  • Lol I need one of these. Is the print water resistant too?
