Man please lend the construction plans to Lego and ask them to go in serie with this model. Ficking great, I bet it took you a long time to adjust the pneumatic parts of the arm. Especially the O&K Triple Power seems not to be very simple to rebuild.
At first I thought it was cool, then I noticed the pneumatic lines and shortly after the animation. Then I thought, AWESOME! Very impressive indeed, sweet work.
Do you mean those red cones? They're a kind of markers of bucket position. Type in Youtube "rh400" and you'll find some movies to see how does it work.
amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have never seen anything so amazing and complex! It would be really cool is if you got some paint and weathered it! THAT WOULD BE SICK AWESOME!!
The language spoken in a lot of the comments is Polish since the constructor is Polish. He designs the sets himself so I don't know if you can buy them anywhere really. It's a pity. I'd buy every one of his sets. They are quite impressive. I love how he manages to get the realism that new commercial LEGOs strive for while using old-school parts, none of that new crap that they make to have the sets be realistic but that you can't use in other models.
Awesome Job zbiczasty, I work on that exact shovel that is in your vid 11-38. I would say your version is no doubt more reliable lol. Awesome job and great post thanks for this.
There are three PF XL motors and one RC motor inside, steering by two remote controllers. Pneumatic functions are steering using traditional hoses with valves (powered by internal 2-pump compressor).
Może innych to nie dziwi ale dla mnie wspaniałe jest to że te maszyny naprawdę mogą pracować (w małej skali), mi wychodzą zazwyczaj maszyny które tylko wyglądają jakby pracowały i mogły coś podnieść .
Dude, you did a f***g great job. This is one of the best LEGO models I've seen in my life! Great construction with great detail. If only I had all those pieces to make one for myself! Why don't you publish the instructions for creating this monster in a PDF?
@dozerman09 So did we! Namely your comment.... This Lego machine is quite some work. A lot of us really like it! Keep your pathetic bad comments to yourself. Thanks.
Yes. they let the operator know where to set the bucket over the dump body. its important on rope shovels because the dipper door swings out and could damage the side of the bed.
you could have made it fully RC, you had enough space

@skinsofarmor Yes, but then arm moves wouldn't be enough fluent.

@zbiczasty true, it is very hard to make a compact RC pneumatic system... that works well and has good control

It's a typical 3-pomp compressor powered by RC Lego motor (with reduction 16/40 gear).

Can somebody clue me in on what the little cones hanging on string from the bucket are for? are they for positioning the bucket over the dumper?
Samakajc 3 years ago
Yes. they let the operator know where to set the bucket over the dump body. its important on rope shovels because the dipper door swings out and could damage the side of the bed.
