tomes are very unimportant late game when big armies are about to clash since tomes wont really be game changing in a 100 pop army battle. Pros only care about getting their units out, scouting, and creeping late game. The only tome they would care about is the tome of exp as one whole level advantage over your opponent should make it last longer than your opponents one.

i see that moon doesnt seem to like to engage into a head on fight with undead a lot and go straight into killing the base which is really hard but effective and i guess thats why he has such a strong percent wins against undead.

honestly i don't understand why nobody bothers to take the tome it was just sitting there in full view of both players for the longest time

i mean it takes less than 2 seconds to get it and 25hp can be a huge saver for a hero

I dont even play wc3 ( i did a few years ago, play SC now) but even I can tell that he didnt have his hero near the expansions when he cleared them and he didnt have the time to go fetch the books. He had to keep the pressure on the ud forcing tps since he had the better economy but not as good army.
