An informative video, but what stood out most for me was the total lack of heath & safety warnings discussed before carrying out the cleaning! You're using a bleach based product with a tooth brush that will flick the cleaner in all directions, presumably you'll be crouched down checking to see if your getting into the right places & doing a good job, I'd of thought gloves & safety specs would be a minimum, as well as discussing these the merits of them before starting!?

Here is a great and free treatment to minimize odor in your washer. When you're finished washing for the day, keep the washer lid and/or the detergent drawer open. Allowing the washer to dry will prevent mold from growing.

That will not fix a smelly washing machine. That will simply make it appear clean. Speaking from experiance what a smelly washer needs is a 'maintenence' wash. ie 90 degree wash using biological detergent, as the smells wont be from the seal, drawer or pump, they are all harboured in the inner drum and outer tub.

Sometimes run a 60°C washcycle when doing loundry that comes in contact with the body. I never, ever had that Problem!!!

I saw that that machine has a small hose near the trap. Shouldn't that have been used to drain the machine first, then remove the trap? I wish my washer had a screw on trap. However, my washer has never had that feature, and it's 10 1/2 years old now. Another thing I would recommend is to refill the washing machine with some water. At least in my case, draining the machine, but not refill the machine resulted in worse odor than before.

this video is massivly out of sync. i have seen far worse scenarios of bacteria uild up like this. but actually one reason why mould and bacteria bulid up in draw is bacuse not useing detergent in draw. and just haveing a cold water intake

after each wash we leave the door open so that air dryies the tub and once per month we use a 90 c high temperature wash with detergent !!! in this machine the owner for sure doesnt use hot programmes and he/she doesnt leave the door open after each wash!!
