They sometimes run it twice in big cash games. They deal two boards, each worth half the pot. It's a chance for the underdog to break even. Also, if the favorite gets sucked out once, he won't lose the whole pot.

If you win at 0.50-1 dollars level thats good, because you can earn pretty good dollars even at that level, if you are a good player.
