Enjoyed the cooking lesson rib. I need to invest in a cookbook myself. I have to cook food any way. I have to avoid gluten(wheat and its many forms) and avoid dairy for the most part. I am just tired of cooking the same stuff. Thanks for sharing.
I love ya but.... I cook and you should use a veg or chicken stock. Better luck next time. It was beautifully shot and the end result was most beautifully garnished! :) I'm sure it tasted brilliant.
Cool kitchen, the 2 burner stove and small refrigerator is different than the stateside couple, who would a want a hugh 6 burner stove and 25 cu ft refrig and then buy premade meals that only needed to be nuked.
Everytime I hear the word risotto I think of the film "Big Night" where the chef is about to throw the fat bitch out of the restaurant for ordering a side of pasta to accompany her rissotto because "they are both-a starches!" hahaha
ROFL!! How long did it actually take to make this dish? And who does the dishes? Mate if I have to cook for longer than 20 minutes it's not worth it. Mind you I can't cook to save myself and risotto is like the most easy thing in the world to get wrong. Get that Aussie 4 ingredients cook book for a birthday or Christmas present. It's amazing how easy it is to make nice food with minimal effort.
That looked really good. Nice food shots at the end too. Thats one of my favorite things to do is food commercials (I'm in TV) and those shots were perfect.
lol you had turn me loose by the young diva's playing in the back - i love that song

It tasted great, and for next time I should go a little easier on the cheese, and make sure I buy the right stock!

Looks yummy. My personal forte is rice pilaf but now you've persuaded me to try a risotto -- maybe this one. Good job!
