and my sister is 19 and has disowned us and only comes around to pick a fight or take money so that's very stressful and because of that my dad (really my step dad) is very strict when it comes to me because we doesn't want me to grow up to be like her. So I get yelled at for the littlest of things. My aunt in Germany is going though therapy after she broke her hip and she may never be able to walk without support if she can't get better i really hope that you get better and i will pray for u

Can you see that your not alone? Can you see that there are some people who are willing to support you? Can you see that there are some of us who truely are trying to help? There may not be many of us left, but we are here, waiting and watching for something for something to be fixed or cured. You may not read this seemingly meanless comment, but Just know that you are not alone, there are many others like you. My grandmother has lung cancer, I haven't even MET half of my family. im in a bit of depression as well. my grandfather (both of them) died of cancer, my parents are devorsed, i feel like im going to explose at some times. its hard. we both understand evan though im not in high school yet i think we understand eachother. im sorry those things happened. im hoping my grandma does not die of a bad back and this is kinda small but my fish was eaten by a moth 8U! so i think we have alot in common. wow.
It's good to know Ur not alone in being part of major depression. Like i said. i was for a while to. I was, O C D, Schizophrenic, Paranoia, low self esteem, Post-traumatic stress disorder, Catatonia, and much much more.... they say i needed help. but therapists just told me weird stuff... like when they told me to draw my family. i drew stick figures. and they said i had communication problems just because i didn't draw ears. (stick figures don't have ears)
I'll sounds horrible but this in a way made me smile, not due to the content but how it was done. The cards are kinda amusing and the honestly in it is heart warming.

I see an incredibly talented and creative girl whose videos make me smile. I see a girl who cares, someone who doesn't pray that they'll be able to get the phone they always wanted, or the newest pair of shoes that everyone's been talking about, but instead prays for the wellfare of her friends and family. I see a girl who will have a bright future. Be positive. Those kids who teased you can all just go, because they haven't read your story yet. They just think they have. I'll pray for you. :3
What I see is a beautiful girl. A girl that loves and cares for her friends. Someone who likes to draw cats just like me. I know most kids at Mbhs can't see it all. Trust me Starrylupid. This may not mean much but they will start to understand. It's gonna be a rough road ahead. Sometimes it is so hard to not speak blindly, as you put it. Most people will not tell their stories, or won't tell their own real stories because they don't want to let people inside.... Regardless, I thought this was very beautiful. I'm not going to lie with all the rubbish like "I know how you feel" and so on. All I can relate to is the depression and the friends being self absorbed in their own 'problems'. I nearly cried from this video, and that the fact that you have been able to go through all of this, I'm really impressed! My family really doesn't have anybody with cancer. I know EXACTLY what you and your brother are going through. I suffer from severe OCD and depression and I have Aspergers on top of that. And I know from my own experience that you all can pull through. With the right support, patients, and some therapeutic help, your brother can pull his life back together and kick OCD's ass. I've battled with my OCD and depression for years. With the right help and support, and some hard work, you guys can over come these challanges. I believe in you all. ;)
Some people can't share their story; won't share their story, because they've tried but no one will care or listen. Yet whether you know or not doesn't change the fact that they also go through love , pain, and life.

This video.... It is just so sad and also true. Us humans must look beneath other peoples exterior to find out who they are underneath, before they judge them. Because the people you judge harshly could have miserable lives and you calling them names and hurting their feelings makes their lives worse. And I am so sorry about your family members Starry! Just remember, you have all of your friends and us to help you through it. All of us care about how you feel.
That has got to be the most inspiring video I have ever seen. For some reason, I've managed to dodge all of the pain and suffering in life. No one close to me has had cancer. My family is completly heathy and we have always goten along. None of my friends have ever been depressed enough to hurt themselves or attempt suicide. I often wonder how people can feel such emotions as depression or anger since I rarely or even ever have felt such emotions. But still, I really care about those who do.

that was beautiful starry...its funny how a simple video can make you tear up so easily. i really hope your brother gets better or even gets rid of that kind of OCD, my neighbor had it. it took a while before they could finally control themselve and stop ripping their hair out. eventually she got out of it. and depression is a hard thing to overcome by yourself, if you need to talk to somebody or need anything im here for you ^^ i hope everyone in your family with cancer overcomes it. and

I think this is one of the most interesting idea's for a video ive seen, i like the way it was presented, it makes you think more than you normally would, and i hope it will open the eyes of more people to listen to the storys of some of the people they dont understand.
i think we all need to realize that hurting other people by calling them names isnt going to solve anything, i think alot of people that call you names can be a good friend if they see what your really like, lots of people at my school call me names like gay, or schiver (for being off school for alot) because they dont KNOW me at all, some even think im emo or deppresed when im really not if you get to know me, but if everyone would be willing to listen then everyone would be happy.
That was quite an amazing video, with a lesson that we humans need to learn. Because when we don't so many others get hurt.

life is full of terrible events and people, yes this is true. But finding out about the people who are terrible could really be someone else inside crying. Everyone is blind making comments that only they think are right. Seeing someone for who they truly are is what everyone should do... That is why we should always watch things closely and find out the real truth. people will call you lesbian for hugging your friends, But you should anyway because you' re the person who truly cares and matters

I see an incredibly talented and creative girl whose videos make me smile. I see a girl who cares, someone who doesn't pray that they'll be able to get the phone they always wanted, or the newest pair of shoes that everyone's been talking about, but instead prays for the wellfare of her friends and family. I see a girl who will have a bright future. Be positive. Those kids who teased you can all just go, because they haven't read your story yet. They just think they have. I'll pray for you. :3

What I see is a beautiful girl. A girl that loves and cares for her friends. Someone who likes to draw cats just like me. Those people who make fun of you are losers and they are jealous because they don't have wonderful friends like you. Live your days full of happiness and try finding the good in life. Smile as much as you can, even when you sad. Everyday I want you to think that there is someone on earth that thinks you are beautiful. :3

Thank you for posting this, I'm sure it will help a lot of people. Some people think they have horribles lives because they aren't allowed to go out for a party or something, but really when they look at this they should think that they are the luckiest people on Earth. Praying for you! <3

Starry what i see in you is the talented person that brought me to youtube and DA.When i first saw you on one of your videos as a real person i thought you were pretty and beautiful.when i heard about your deppression and about your mom on one of your journals i prayed for you while i still believed in god.When i posted comments on your profile you replied made me happy even though im deppressed as well.Starry i am proud to actually see you as the amazing person i still believe you are. I know most kids at Mbhs can't see it all. Trust me Starrylupid. This may not mean much but they will start to understand. It's gonna be a rough road ahead. I know some of the things you went through. someone close to me has been diagnosed with cancer. Open up try to speak out. If I could I would give most of my money to you if I could but I dont have a bank account. You sound like an amazing person and so does each one of your family members. Your right, I am blind. Sometimes it is so hard to not speak blindly, as you put it. Most people will not tell their stories, or won't tell their own real stories because they don't want to let people inside.... Thanks for making this video. ^ ^ I like to remember that people have stories to help let you know how they are the way they are. I'm sure making this video made you feel a lot less pinned down by your problems. ^ ^

awww, that was heartbreaking ;-; but some of us have seen clearly, or read other stories. i read what you say on deviantart, it just breaks my heart that this happens to people :'( I hope you and your family get better very soon and i'll pray for you as well. and if anyone ever tells you that your not good at anything, their wrong, and they need to open their eyes to see the true person in you. to see that your one of the best animators and artists i know, and to just see You.

Nothing that I can say will really mean all that much, since im just another random stranger from another part of the world and have no relation to you what so ever. Actually, the first thing I thought when I saw you was "She has pretty eyebrows", but that's just me.
Regardless, I thought this was very beautiful. I'm not going to lie with all the rubbish like "I know how you feel" and so on. All I can relate to is the depression and the friends being self absorbed in their own 'problems'. However, I do wish the very best for you and your family, and find your talent at portraying something as sensitive as this in such a beautiful way.

If anyone has spoken how I feel, its you. I understand (for as much as you can imagine me understanding.) how it feels to be everyones.....whats the word...the person everyone talks all their crap to. Then, when I place my opinion, im bashed, like im the worst friend ever. Sometimes I wonder what everyone would think of me if they knew I suffered from Depression and Bipolar.. This is one of the mos inspiring videos I have ever seen. I mean, I thank another person for posting this up in their journal, too. It made me think a little harder. But, one thing is that you have the talent to talk and speak out. :) That's what I like! I nearly cried from this video, and that the fact that you have been able to go through all of this, I'm really impressed! My family really doesn't have anybody with cancer. And my friends are were also fighting with each other one day.Thanks!:)

I know EXACTLY what you and your brother are going through. I suffer from severe OCD and depression and I have Aspergers on top of that. And I know from my own experience that you all can pull through. With the right support, patients, and some therapeutic help, your brother can pull his life back together and kick OCD's ass. I've battled with my OCD and depression for years. With the right help and support, and some hard work, you guys can over come these challanges. I believe in you all. ;)

Some people can't share their story; won't share their story, because they've tried but no one will care or listen. Yet whether you know or not doesn't change the fact that they also go through love , pain, and life.

This video.... It is just so sad and also true. Us humans must look beneath other peoples exterior to find out who they are underneath, before they judge them. Because the people you judge harshly could have miserable lives and you calling them names and hurting their feelings makes their lives worse. And I am so sorry about your family members Starry! Just remember, you have all of your friends and us to help you through it. All of us care about how you feel.

That has got to be the most inspiring video I have ever seen. For some reason, I've managed to dodge all of the pain and suffering in life. No one close to me has had cancer. My family is completly heathy and we have always goten along. None of my friends have ever been depressed enough to hurt themselves or attempt suicide. I often wonder how people can feel such emotions as depression or anger since I rarely or even ever have felt such emotions. But still, I really care about those who do.

that was beautiful starry...its funny how a simple video can make you tear up so easily. i really hope your brother gets better or even gets rid of that kind of OCD, my neighbor had it. it took a while before they could finally control themselve and stop ripping their hair out. eventually she got out of it. and depression is a hard thing to overcome by yourself, if you need to talk to somebody or need anything im here for you ^^ i hope everyone in your family with cancer overcomes it. and

I think this is one of the most interesting idea's for a video ive seen, i like the way it was presented, it makes you think more than you normally would, and i hope it will open the eyes of more people to listen to the storys of some of the people they dont understand.

i think we all need to realize that hurting other people by calling them names isnt going to solve anything, i think alot of people that call you names can be a good friend if they see what your really like, lots of people at my school call me names like gay, or schiver (for being off school for alot) because they dont KNOW me at all, some even think im emo or deppresed when im really not if you get to know me, but if everyone would be willing to listen then everyone would be happy.

life is full of terrible events and people, yes this is true. But finding out about the people who are terrible could really be someone else inside crying. Everyone is blind making comments that only they think are right. Seeing someone for who they truly are is what everyone should do... That is why we should always watch things closely and find out the real truth. people will call you lesbian for hugging your friends, But you should anyway because you' re the person who truly cares and matters
