Also, .357 SIG is a high impulse round that a lot of state police/highway patrol agencies use to punch through car doors and seat upholstery. Kinda would suck if the round went downrange and hit the pilot in the back of the head, yes?

So what are they doing sitting in first class. I've never heard of a first class passenger getting up and taking a shit on the beverage cart. All the bad stuff that happens on an airplane starts in coach.

@sforcesrcg Well the first stop is New Mexico, the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center at Artesia, then they move on to the advanced course at Atlantic City. FLETC in New Mexico is like the basic police academy. Its pretty much public knowledge as most of the federal services use FLETC for basic before their advanced courses

I don't really see this as an issue anymore. Air Marshals or not the people aboard the plane I seriously doubt will allow another hijacking.

The whole Air Marshall program is crap. The cockpit door is able to defend itself. Its bullet proof and in penetrable.

for some reason, I don't think the cockpit door factor really plays a role at 30000ft with some dude in the cabin who is suicidal and yelling "I have a bomb"...

Then again, maybe I'm wrong...Who knows, when they're picking up the plane's debris from the crash site, the door may in fact be in tact!

No one remembers 1993 attack and they will forget 9/11 attack soon enough. Keep up that hopeful thinking.
