First off check the mirror off the gauge near the end. Sitting up one handed with no problem at the 130-140mph is not possible. I sat up my first time going 160+ when I hit back down to 130mph and it almost took me off the bike. It is Kph not mph he is riding.

226 my ass. I topped my gsxr 1000 out at 203 with lots of extras done to it. I put it back for street use, but I would say just over 200 is about as fast as any gsxr 1000 can go. The speedo starts blinking at 186.........so you need gps.

I'm a big GSXR fan, but I can't help thinking that the newer ones (WT onwards) just don't feel as aggressive in their acceleration. Don't get me wrong I'm sure they are faster but my old carb'd SRAD felt so violent, same as my old slabby 1100 did. Normally at about 8 grand the engine went batshit.
