  • Kasparov vs Karpov vs Karamazov vs Kazam vs Kickboxing Kangaroos.

  • they don't fuck around

  • высший пилотаж!

  • legends... age-long board rivals

  • 2:36 FINALLY

  • both are rich , kasparov took office in russia

  • white put a fork at the end, as far as I could see

  • @michaelisraelian kind of, king H8, G7 Mate, King F8, G7, Pawn promote, End.

  • could anyone publish the notation for this endgame?

  • Needed: Pretentious commentary (preferably British) in hushed tones explaining WTF is going on. I'd settle for a Steadycam.

  • Both are my favorite players. Just wondering though , do these guys do this for a living. I mean don't they have to work at real jobs., or is this all they do all day, click, click , and click

  • @30inventionman Kasparov made around 30 million $ at least that I know of. Also he made quite a name for himself and is now pursuing a political office in Russia. Karpov did quite well too. I'd quit what I'm doing if I was as good as they were...

  • who won

  • @30inventionman white won, i think..

  • hmmm I think tripods are good invention

  • I find this hard to masturbate to..

  • schach-brett.de

  • from like 0:40 to 0:50 seconds Kasparov is covering his mouth and I bet he is just covering a big huge smile being like "i totally just won this game"

  • 2:08 Nf5+!

  • Karpov rules

  • @AdrianErotico69 Best player ever.

  • 2:50, did someone run out of time? 'Cos he wasn't checkmate. However, black would have lost anyway.

  • @johnmilo117 Karpov made a mistake so kasparov could switch the knights leaving two pawns against nothing for Kasparov. thats the latest time to resign that match

  • throw the freakin towel already!!

  • Thought Kasparov retired in '05?

  • @MoPar7055 he still plays some exhibition matches from time to time... the guy never left chess comepletely.

  • Despite playing in 4 champ matches, there really was no K-K rivalry. Kasparov always won. But to his credit, Karpov dominated everyone else.

  • @dovespin1 Not exactly.in 1984 match Karpov was ahead 5-0 after 31 games, the 32 game limited match whould have given him an overall win.Kasparov won the last game in 1987 match and tired the score at 4-4.Kasparov won in 1985(5-3),in 1986(5-4) and in 1990(4-3)So 21 to 19 it is realy close rivalry.Karpov dominated everyone else i would say from the 1973 untill 1984.Both of them are legend.I thinke even today Garry would have given everyone(Karlsen,Anand e.t.c) trouble

  • @aleksandrpondios Yes you agree Kasparov won 4 matches. He won given the rules of engagement. Ties are victories for the champion. The 1984 match rules were agreed upon by the players and FIDE. Karpov would've won in 1984 had the match been shorter, but it wasn't. I'm not sure where the "not exactly" comes from. It cannot be disputed that Karpov is comparable in strength to Kasparov, but Kasparov won every single title match with Karpov. That was my point when talking about rivalry.

  • @dovespin1.You said it was not a rivalry.1984 5-3.1987 4-4 a draw.Garry won 3 matches of 5.I have not to agree o disagree with you.It is a fact.Have a nice day

  • @aleksandrpondios Sorry I misspoke. Kasparov didn't win 4 matches. He won 3 title matches against Karpov. The match in 1984 was nullified by Karpov's friend Campomanes so it doesn't exist and there was no result. the drawn match in 87 was won by Kasparov by the rules of the match. Like I said Karpov is comparable in strength but never won a match against Kasparov. You also have a great day! Oh I think Karpov did win a little 4 game rapid mini-match against Kasparov about 10 years ago.

  • that's too much fast!

  • They should have a drinking contest instead... theyre both Russian

  • @SRDTL kasparov is armenian my friend

  • I cant imagine performing well in blitz matches. I take more time to think about single moves than it took to watch this whole video.

  • So the guy wants to have a horse to frustrate the other :P

  • I like the 10 minute move rule better:) lol

  • Two chess genius's at work.

  • what chess set is that does anyone know

  • @aqwdemonmaster Go to chessusa.com

  • If anyone want a copy of this match, send me a message and I send it to you. Is a 96 movements match, a blitz one. Valencia ESPAÑA, 24.09.2009

  • it ended with a fork?

  • it ended with a vork?

  • @koekjeeee Yes it ended met een vork

  • were they playing in any special chess-style? they were playing so fast! how many time did they have in total on the clock?

  • @Billyce18 I think is a 3 minutes Blitz. I´ll check it into my megadatabase. Tschüss!

  • @AdiOnlySports OH! I undestood now, thanks :D

  • I started laughing they are so fast :D They are picking up every chess piece :D

  • kasparov won with knight and pressure from pawn :O

  • For those who dont understand his last move was a fork between the knight and the king. Karpov had no choice but to take the Knight and after Gary takes that Knight its over from there thats why Karpov resigns.

  • @PYROjoSH09 Hey , relax !! We ALL UNDERSTAND . Maybe its YOU who doesn't understand !!!

  • damn crazy old men :)) what happened in the end?

  • @xundarz karpov resigns because kasparov has a winning position and karpov cannot stop the inevitable checkmate

  • damn crazy old men :))

  • For more than 20 years they hate each other on that bord!

  • @celebratingfantasy It seems they really love the game though, so that is all that matters. Go into it without regrets, no fear.

  • MY FAVORITE PART WAS WHEN NOTHING HAPPENED

  • @MrSoldierDog troll

  • ARE BOTH OF THESE FELLOWS WEARING DEPENDS UNDER GARMENTS?

  • that set looks almost exactly like mine maple and mahogany board but i my peices are the rosewood and boxwood ultimate staunton from chess baron...a swell pickup...does any1 know what they are using?

  • who won?

  • @IwantLunch100 Kasparov, karpov resign.

  • WTF son BUENISIMOS!!!en lo que ellos terminan un juego yo apenas pienso el primer movimiento =S
