I've been listening to heidi. ever since I heard their song 'Yokan' for Kaicho Wa Maid Sama. I can only understand a little Japanese but regardless of that I was able to connect with their song. It's just so powerful without the shouting and those too edgy electric guitar. Yoshiko's voice is so clear and the rest of the band is no pushover-they translate their music well through their instruments. So genius! So cool! Not to mention they are themselves, they don't pretend to be someone else.

Basically its different from "Visual" Kei

because they dont do all that crazy stuff with their hair, its rather simple compared to those other bands, and rather than putting on all that make up, they smear their make up

kind of like (im not sure of these following bands) Slipknot with their smeared make up or something. Also its the type of music they play.

Angura is like old Kagrra,. They dress up in old Japanese garb, like kimonos and such. You're thinking of eroguro, like MUCC and Merry. :] They wear loads of smeared black make-up and suits. It's darker.

Yeah they are a VK band but rather subtle compared and there musci lyrics are a lot less vague. To make it simple like any VK band there songs don't go straight to the point but they don't hide it behind fantasy. Lets compare to Oshare kei (fashionable kei)

Ancafe have really touching songs but if you don't know the real lyrics you'll think its just silly.
