Saw him on a music channel (dont know which one it was) some weeks ago and right after that I searched youtube for bens brother. He has an awesome voice, reminds me a bit of Rod Stewart . noreexic@ I saw her a few weeks ago Live and her range is the best I have ever heard it . The more she uses it the stronger it gets . And with the HCTG tours her voice is back to its best . You also have to take into acount all the health problems Anastacia suffers from . Her voice will depend on what state of health she's in at the time, her constant battle with crons is still on going and a flare up can floor you energy wise and the way Anastacia sings it takes a whole lot of energy.

In the last 3 years her voice really altered, i dunno, im not sure on technical terms, but her timbre is not as dark or edgy sounding, its sems very very nasaly and tight. Her range has dropped, people say she didnt exploit it in her last album but really this is as high as she can go now, her notes seem forced and her tone is just different, she has lost sumthing, i cnt explain it, this is not the anastacia i know. i still think she is good, but why has her voice chaged dramatically, why now??

@noreexic: I don't think that her voice altered or something! In an interview she said that she tried to match her voice to his, so she didn't sing the song like she could. She just tried to complement the song with her voice and I believe she did a great job! =)

I just listened to both versions back to back and honestly, Anastacia adds TOO much grittiness to the song. I guess it's because I imagine this song to be a softer kind of ballad; which Joss Stone provides. But in the end, it's ALL a matter of PREFERENCE to what one wants to hear. Both are great singers and deserve WAY more recognition than they HAVE.

I am a huge fan of anastacia but i have to say that i prefer the version with joss stone. Anastacia is better at more upbeat, aggressive funky diva style songs (like "i'm outta love" for example), but joss's voice is better suited to this type of music :). However, that's just my opinion. It would be awesome if it was jamiroquai and joss stone!

I've always been such a fan of Anastacia, and I've listened to both versions of this song, both Anastacia's and Joss Stone's, and without any bipartisanship, I truly enjoy this version much better.
