I was on deployment on the USS Dwight D Eisenhower CVN-69 and got to hear this live in the hangar bay. I was also given the websight of the writers of the song but lost it... if anybody knows their websight please post
As a Navy veteran and old purple shirt that used to fuel these prowlers years ago and my son in law used to be an AT on the Prowlers. I love it! I will miss seeing them flying around here once the growlers replace them. But in all honesty my fav aircraft was the flying brick the F-4 phantom LOL!

I'm with VAQ-209 now, nothing's changed. In fact several people in the video are still with the squadron.

Was part of Ironclaw 92-96, AT shop as well. Good and bad but I still miss it. Sad when being on a boat is a fond memory. Or not. LOL
