Hi,

The kit lights look great, but the lighted Bird is a little over the top.Looks kind of like a smile, which reminds me of Japanese grill openings! Doing something with the driving lights would be preferred.Maybe something along the front air dam, super thin so as not to be noticed would be better!

@buddy54ck Yeah, I agree with you about the smile effect from the front bird. Actually, I'm working on a fire effect for it so it will look like the bird is on fire. I'm hoping to have it done by this weekend and have some videos of it uploaded. So far it looks pretty cool. The car has changed a bit but not too much. I had something very similar to this on my 97 RS camaro. Turns out Red and or Blue is VERY ILLEGAL on the front of the car. Well not if the light is Steady though (not moving or blinking). This looks sick btw. Thumbs up

@DynamicTheRapper Thanks. Yeah it's illegal when the car is in motion. I mainly use them at car shows or in parades. I have accidentally left mine on before and pulled over a car by mistake ;)

@injengines I've never done one for a 1996 TA but it can be done. Is yours the factory style hood or aftermarket? I'd need to get dimensions from you. What is the height and width of the hood scoops?

@heavenzbooty I lit it with some cold cathode lights. They're really cheap on Ebay and don't pull much juice.

@Sugabaay No, it doesn't have to be a factory WS6 hood. The red car in the video has a aftermarket hood. In my other videos, I made one for the stock firebird hoods too but they require a much harder installation. Which hood do you have?

@derrickfromsomerset  I use cold cathode tubes. They're pretty cheap, have good brightness and don't pull that much current so they work good for car shows.

@csx5861 I have the same sequential lights on my 99'. I haven't been stopped for them yet but since the new Mustangs come from the factory with them the must be legal and like you said, the old cougars had them too. I think they look awesome and are safer than standard tail lights. Sometimes it feels like they're just looking for a reason to pull you over. An officer stopped me when I was filiming one of my light videos and gave me a really hard time about it. Felt like I was a criminal.

@csx5861 Actually, any moving light on a vehicle while it's in motion is illegal I think. These are just for use at car shows. Occassionally I'll turn it on if I'm in a parade or something like that. I do offer them in other colors. I've done Amber, white, purple. Haven't done a green yet. Amber has been pretty popular especially on red cars. Have a good one!

@LcplHabon Actually it doesn't. There's a block off plate from the factory that restricts the air flow. My light is mounted 1" back and I cut the bottom of the block off plate so I get more air now then I did from the factory. :)

@redfootninja The should last almost forever. For trans ams, it has to have a ram air style hood. There really isn't anywere to mount on on a firebird. The lower openings between the headlights isn't big enough with the hood latch area behind it.
