  • Hello, nice engine but it looks as an alpha stirling.

  • @profesorjuano Thanks! Doesn't an Alpha type use two pistons, and no real displacer?

  • @vlmarshall yes an alpha type use two power pistons but one of them can be too a real displacer at the same time,it remember me a rider stirling type engine.these are the mos powerful engines I´ve seen.your engine looks has two real pistons and one is a bit longer ,this portion is displacer too.Regards

  • @profesorjuano You're probably right, then. This displacer piston extends quite a way into the hot cap, so I never thought of it as an Alpha... but the engine has quite a high compression, so I guess it IS working like two pistons.

    Interesting.

  • Ugh, I hate YouTube's new rating system, dumbed-down to just "like/Dislike".

  • Very neat Sterling. Runs very fast

  • Thanks, it looks better without YouTube's compression messing up the framerate.

  • nice
