So he was drafted in to the 22nd Artillery Supply Company as a private. And he actually played a part in the battle, carrying artillery shells across the lines to his buddies.

And don't say a word about Katyn massacre because that was one of the effects of German-Soviet alliance, and not 4.400 but 20.000 in entire USSR. My Great-Grandfather was part of the Wehrmacht. He joined because soldiers got more food & better living than "normal people".
But then came Stalingrad and he was captured! He rethought his life and came to the conclusion that what he had done was wrong. He managed to escape with the help of a soviet officer and cam eback to germany. He then helped fugitives to escape ... (and so on and so forth)

My grandad fought at Monte Cassino in the Polish Regiment, he said he reached the summit but lost almost his enitire unit, he was not the same after this battle and freely admitted it. he did it for himself, for Poland, for all of his family!, and the world!

took me a while before I knew it either, it's not that well known. And I consider myself a walking WW2 history book:)
But Polish troops fought in a lot more battles, take for example the 1st Independent Polish airborne brigade who fought in the battle of Arnhem in Sep. 44. Not many ppl know that those Poles dropped into the thick of the fight and saved quite a lot of British para's by helping them over the Rhine.
It's a shame that few people know of these men and tehir achievements
My grandad fought in the Wehrmacht in the battle of Küstrin and in the Battle of Berlin. He was in Dresden after the allied bombing and had to stack dead men on piles and burn them because there were more then 300.000 people died, and my grandfather also fought for his family without being a Nazi. When you say respect to all who fought for the freedom of europe whats with the notNazi-german soldiers? Are they bad because they were forced to fight for something they dont believe in?

My Grandfather was moved to Wehrmacht in 1944, they forced him to fight otherwise he'd be shot as a betrayer. Yes there is a proof, go through the member list of NSDAP and compare their Wehrmacht members one by one which and how much crimes they did commit and you will see that i was right the whole time. Historians arent even sure of the exact number of german soldiers that fought in the war (it is said that it was approximately 13 million - impossible to find out about all of the criminals in that number of people). People who grown up in Nazis propaganda in the moment of WW2 blow were about 20 years old, so don't say that significant part of German society grown up in that ideology.
Better living conditions, food, etc. That could be even funny if wouldn't be so sad. Hitler eliminated unemployment very efficiently - even in occupied lands. My grandfather's brother was captured by germans and sent to reich as a slave. He worked complusorily in factory for german effort and better living conditions.

Germans really did similar or worse things not even to soldiers but civilians. Let's face it - Germans are responsible for plenty of dirty things. My Great-Grandfather was part of the Wehrmacht. He joined because soldiers got more food & better living than "normal people".
But then came Stalingrad and he was captured! He rethought his life and came to the conclusion that what he had done was wrong. He managed to escape with the help of a soviet officer and cam eback to germany. He then helped fugitives to escape ... (and so on and so forth)

My grandad fought at Monte Cassino in the Polish Regiment, he said he reached the summit but lost almost his enitire unit, he was not the same after this battle and freely admitted it. he did it for himself, for Poland, for all of his family!, and the world!

took me a while before I knew it either, it's not that well known. And I consider myself a walking WW2 history book:)
But Polish troops fought in a lot more battles, take for example the 1st Independent Polish airborne brigade who fought in the battle of Arnhem in Sep. 44. Not many ppl know that those Poles dropped into the thick of the fight and saved quite a lot of British para's by helping them over the Rhine.
It's a shame that few people know of these men and tehir achievements

My grandad fought in the Wehrmacht in the battle of Küstrin and in the Battle of Berlin. He was in Dresden after the allied bombing and had to stack dead men on piles and burn them because there were more then 300.000 people died, and my grandfather also fought for his family without being a Nazi. Historians arent even sure of the exact number of german soldiers that fought in the war (it is said that it was approximately 13 million - impossible to find out about all of the criminals in that number of people). Besides there was lots of crimes we dont know about and lots of which we dont know who committed them (germans, russians, ukrainians). You cant sort out everything. You cant say that one or other group committed more crimes. Of course SS and Gestapo was more known to be criminals but it doesnt mean wehrmacht was any better.

@Gothic070 zmusiles mnie abym zalozyl konto na youtube. Mozesz nie lubic metalu, ale nie obrazaj utworu o dzielnych POLAKACH i INNYCH LUDZI. Pomysl sobie jak twoj Dziadek lub Pradziadek sie cieszyl i byl dumny ze swoich towarzyszy broni, a Ty wszystko psujesz. To tyle.

@KingBread87 O tej wolności możesz opowiedzieć Anieli, Włodzimierzowi albo chłopakom z nieświętej pamięci WSI. Żeby tę wolność widzieć obecnie, trzeba zdrowo chlać albo ćpać. Wolność musi kiedyś przyjść - i oby odbyło się to przy urnie wyborczej. I nikt nie będzie stąd wypier... Boisz się konkurencji w pośredniaku?

@PulkownikIwanBohun Ależ oni nie krzyczą "J..ć Polskę", tylko większości chodzi o ów wyrób polskopodobny, który aktualnie usadowił się na naszych ziemiach i próbuje wykończyć żyjący tu naród socjalizmem, etatyzmem, pogardą dla prawa i złodziejstwem. Zresztą organizacja ta coraz bardziej alienuje się ze społeczeństwa, które ma być dla niej dostarczycielem pożywienia czyli kasy. Dlatego masowy ruch zmierzający do obalenia jej powinien kierować się podobną zasadą jak za komuny tj. MY i ONI.
