I don't know ... even for what it is, Sykes has had over 25 years to learn this lead to where he shouldn't have to do crappy pick slides and harmonic trills in the best parts. Sykes is just part of a cover band here, not much else ...

I met Mike Lee when i was playing in a club in Dubai.He was there to do a New Years gig - one of the most humble and sweetest guys i've ever met. Ended up going for Christmas dinner with him and some mates. I asked him about playing with Page and Plant and he saidm,"mate, if you think I'M nice, you have to meet Rob and Jimmy". Said it was the best gig of his life. No doubt!

Gary Moore was/is king of guitar (Wind Fingers, other than Les Paul) and made Sykes look like a glamor boy and can outplay him 100 fold. Lynott was the Prince of Ireland. Lynott, Moore, Gorham, a beautiful match. Peace to ya!

Sykes is a good player and I enjoyed his work on Thunder and Lightning but doesnt have class of Gary Moore IMO...Gary and Scott combine best on Black Rose...Moore just hits every note unlike Sykes who slides and fuzzes through. If you want the celtic touch then you got to have Gary Moore playing...saying all that though..any Lizzy stuff is great and thanks to Korrayls for uploading this vid...

The 2 previous Lizzy were Chinatown and Renegade and there were the worst albums cos they lacked a dynamic lead guitarist. Sykes replaced Snowy White and gave a fresher sound. I admit T&L isnt the best Lizzy album but its not shit.
