that ryu player don t know how to link at lest one combo and play always light punch, but for total damage...medium and heavy do the work and then ryu is a total butcher!!!
this ryu is the worst I have seen in competitions. wasted so many chances for Ultra, wasted EX meters, way too many dangerous jump-ins, no quick stand (esp vs. gen), bad crouching hard kick.....
What I'm wondering is why the Dhalsim player switched after totally sweeping Ryu while the losing player kept Ryu. Nationals are big events, so why risk playing a character other than your main when you clearly know the matchup with your main?
I could see if it was a CASUAL tournament, or if the player was just so much better than the other that it didn't matter who he picked, but he was clearly very good with Dhalsim and maybe average with Gen.
blah blah blah - shut up with the commentary already and let me hear the match. Goes to show that commentators in any country can be friggin annoying! Nice matches by the way.
The first player s awsum..he played 2 of the most challenging characters in SF4

I don't think the players realized that this is Street Fighter, not Dungeon & Fighter. Jeez.

gen: mk->hands or pick another char, cross up abuse only works on scrubs

agree. hes trying to play too much of a poke/footsie game. hes not blanka or boxer. he should stick to MK > hands or gtfo.

I don't get it; did the same person play Dhalsim and Gen? He looked good as Dhalsim, but not good at all with Gen...
Confusing!
