@indyfan22k - yet there are STILL douchebag politicians out there insisting that there is something called 'clean coal'. NOT! Coal is filthy and a killer and the mining process is far too dangerous to all human life, mostly the miners who have NO other opportunities in W. Va.
Sadly instead of working on solutions and using name calling to make points loses valuable time to fix the problems. People like Ken Ward is not afraid to raise the difficult issues - don't run from the ugliness of the loss of life but address the issues for solutions.
It is so overly obvious that Ken Ward did not care at all about the Miners involved in the Sago Disaster or their families. Ken Ward fights constantly against Mining while it provides 99% of the power he uses. Ward cannot even be a human being, worrying more about what went wrong while we were still making efforts to save our fallen friends. He is unAmerican and definitely not a West Virginian. R.I.P. Sago
While Ken ward is struggling to get the mining companies to clean up their act and prevent accidents, idiots like yourself, think that it is a better answer to buy more shovels so we can dig out those who are killed.
If he is un American, that's bad news because the world obviously need a lot more like him.

the USA badly NEEDS to give up coal to power its power plants. Its dirty and dangerous.
