so i'm in a freeroll last night; not quite a turbo; blinds increase every 6 min. there was a guy destroying the table by just limping in from any position.he would even call small bets. if he even hit ANY part of the flop he would stay in regardless of the betting. he was very good at reading flops and opponents. he was often winning with bottom pair at showdown. how he did this was fascinating to me. it goes against all theory, but it was working for him. i'm confused.
I'm trying to take on the Ferguson Challenge. So far, it's been tough and agonizing. I got top 25 then lost all the money the same day to pocket aces and horrible luck. I'm back to the freerolls again. Honestly, the more you enter, the better you get. You have to learn to not take too many chances. If you think you can steal the pot, go for it! But if you try too many times someone will catch you and it'll cost you big. Think through every play. Wait and think over every play. That's my advice.
@BlitzHitz Thanks for sharing your advice with me (and the rest of the viewers)! Hope you have made some nice progress with your Chris Ferguson Challenge.
