Back in 72, my parents friends ordered a 18' trihull with an outdrive from Cobalt for $63k. I have a picture of myself at 3 months in that boat. Over the years, we went on boating trips with this family. Just weeks ago, they gave me the boat as they do not have time to use it. I will post videos of it, but the boat still remains solid as the day they bought it. Can't wait for the summer so I can get my family out on the water. My boat is an exactly like the boat @ 6:11 with teal interior.
I have the exact same cobalt shown at 2:11.same color same outdrive...identical..Mine is a 1975 cobalt tri hull.. I can personally tell you there is not a better made boat than cobalt..The techology and craftsman they had even in 1975 proves how good they truly are..mine will run 50mph all day long..bilge,blower,all the original gauges still work..how many bayliner,sea ray, four winns, wellcrafts do you see from the 70's on the lake?
Husband and I just joined the Cobalt family last Friday with the delivery of our 303. I'm in love! We actually visited the Cobalt factory in Neodesha a few weeks ago...the people there were fabulous and could not be any nicer! I'm so excited for the summer!
I pick up my first Cobalt this Friday and I cant be more excited. As a first time boat owner, and for that boat to be a Cobalt, I'm spoiled to say the least. I look forward to joining the Cobalt family!
My family bought our second brand new Cobalt in 1989 and we are still enjoying it thoroughly! I was 10 years old and also couldn't have been more excited, I will take her for the first ride of the season tomorrow and , once again couldn't be more excited!...I have a few videos of it running last year!
