@jacob0403 not necessarily true, just because the insight weighs a lot less doesn't mean it will make up for the traction issues when racing a fwd car from a dig. A good driver launching a rwd car should be able to take a fwd car with the same power to weight ratio every time.

I don't understand why people get so mad about these videos. Anyone can search and find whatever they want beating whatever they want to see lose. If you want cheap speed get a honda mod and gut the interior. But past a certain age thats not something ideal to pick up a girl in to go on a date. Stock for stock we already know what was faster anyway...and what car the ladies rather ride in.

@kageryu311 still depends on the heads/cam combination. this one did not accelerate like a LOW 11 sec car - not to mention the low 11 H/C C5 vettes that run low 11´s are planted on sticky dragstrips with sticky drag radials which are in most cases not even street approved. so this was more of a high 12 sec C5 vette (street condition) even if it had an aggressive H/C combination.

It's funny how some people are quick to conclusions when they see V8's get beaten by 4cyl cars, especially Hondas, and say "oh it has a fully built motor and blah blah." It only takes a stock short-block and a good flowing head to make good power on a NA K20.

False, Check out top secret, they have V-12 Supra's, Skylines, and Silvias that all have over 800HP and do 200MPH+. here's how i see it.

that honda was built, upgraded, and designed to be raced like that by the owner. it has had a ton of work done to it to make it that fast. the vette and the gto looked to still be mostly stock, and probably were. I am a huge American V8 guy, but fast is fast and you cant argue with that.
