@squirrel8900 You may sneak to church in all, but if you truly love Christ and want to represent him , you and your dad both need to witness to your mom, and let her know that Christ loves her by showing her the love that Christ has shown you. I have found that showing someone Christs love no matter what they may do, only brings them to realization of him being real. But also remember, it not only takes showing his love, but as well as praying. It may take a long time, but its worth it.

I've been a new Newsboy convert in the past two months, and I wonder (or forgot) why I never got into them in the '90s :-( Better late than never :-D

I bought the greatest hits and the Houston We Are GO Live DVD (awesome !!!). I agree, the original version with the female harmony isn't great (purely from a musical perspective). The Live in Houston DVD's version is better IMHO.

Which brings to my question: is it me, or does this song really sound a lot like U2's "With Or Without You ?"

Obviously the lyrics are a big deal to this song too, probably more than the voice. Also if the singer is singing with no passion or enthusiasm it's going to be difficult channeling my passion to God.

Sorry, no offense intended. The first time I ever saw or even heard of the Newsboys were playing at the baseball park in San Francisco. I was literally mesmerized by their talent. It was then that I first heard them sing this song . . . without the female! Just loved it and haven't been able to find a decent recording of it without her in it. Again, my apologies.

I think the woman who sings on the recording is Rebecca St. James (an artist in her own right). She does not tour with the Newsboys and has never been part of their group, so of course if you hear them in concert, you will not hear her. I love this song very much, no matter who sings it.
