@andyskagr I believe its not that the new songs are bad.. they are good, but compared to what In Flames was from Their First Ep / Cd to Clayman, they could do so much bother. Personally I think Reroute to Remain still sounded pretty oldschool. Soundtrack is where I believe they changed. Come Clarity was so close to being old school, then they put out ASOP and SOAPF.. lol.

@cmc47834 That is true.There are some good songs,musically speaking,in the newest albums.And i don't like to be one of these people that don't like anything new from any band.I appreciate new bands in metal if something is good.It is just that the early melo-death for me and for some other people was something SO special.And seeing one of the bands that started the movement playing these things they play now...it just makes me sad !

is this a really hard solo? i already realise it's the most beautiful one but complexity doesn't necessarily leads to beauty. I'm not a great guitarists but i'm doing my first steps into the solo world so i want to know if it's good to practice with. any thoughts ? Perhaps other recommendations? cheers

@woeliewoeliewoelie hey mate! the solo is not hard at all, pretty easy and straightforward solo. no fast alternate picking passages, no sweeps, no crazy tapping, no arpeggios, no open string legato passages so yeah it's quite manageable. but at start everything is very hard but keep your spirit high, you will play these eventually.

about practice question; everything is a good practice to play! it will teach you something (if not technique-wise then inspire you musically)

@Paisa5990 I think the chord name is G6/E, I could be wrong on the name cuz I don't know a whole lot of music theory. The fingering is 2nd fret 5 string, 5th fret 4th string, 4th fret 3rd string, and 3rd fret 2nd string. Best I can explain it lol, hope this helps!
