  • Great training. I love and work with my husky every day so I know how hard it is to train one like this vs. other breeds. =)

  • Wow Your Dogs Great At Agility! (:

Im Training My Puppy Husky (Shes Just Under 6 Months At The Moment) To Jump. Shes Very Confident And At The Moment Has Jumped Just Under 2ft. Ive Got A Video Of Her On My YouTube, But I Made It For Bebo. If You Could Watch It And Give Me Some Tips That Would Be Great :D

  • Awesome job! I too have a siberian husky, we're going to be taking agilty in a couple of weeks, I'm not sure how it will go, since she does have a complete mind of her own. haha nice job though, he looks like a sweet dog.

  • Fantastic job. I have two Sibes myself and I've always thought they would do great in agility....if they'd listen. lol, Sibes are certainly creatures with a mind of thier own.

  • none of my sibes would ever be able to do that haha

  • Some really like it. We know a few people who run Sibes most are 4 plus years though..Border Collies are easier to train than Huskies...they can be very stubborn plus they are a thinking dog so it can be very challenging. When diesel is on his game he is awesome fast but when he isn't ha can do really bad..until he is closer to 4-5 yrs I am not expecting too much consistency.

  • How do Sibes do with agility compared to, say, border collies? This is the first I've ever seen a husky do agility, and I'm intruiged. I read that they don't really like agility because they get bored with routine stuff, but Diesel sure seems to be loving it!

  • Nice job! I have a Sib and shes seems to be very difficult to train. She only jumps solid objects =/

  • Wow nice run! Looks like he missed the first contact point on one of the a-frames maybe, but man! I hope I can get my husky to do that someday! We're taking a beginner course and he's doing very well. Your dog is awesome!

  • Thanks..actually in AKC they don't have to touch the up contacts just the down side. I taught diesel to sit at the bottom of the contacts so he doesn't fly off. He does good most of the time but when at trials he tends to get too excited and loses concentration. He has his first Nov standard leg.

  • wow congrats!

  • Thanks..we work hard as Sibes have a mind of their own.

  • Fantastic! Well done to both of you x
