  • Thanks for uploading this impressive performance. When I was a student in the early 1970s it would have been unusual for anyone to perform Messiaen's piano works from memory!

  • Well, (just an anecdote) I remember a masterclass where Mme. Loriod gave one guy a punch on his buttock saying "il faut jouer par coeur!" (he played the Courlis cendré) -She's so great.
