I love how they thought they could pass off softening the main part of the melody as a decent theme. Because it isn't, this is shEFFt. Best themes: original, 2000-era, 2005-era. Where the themes are actually themes, not just nothing.

The only thing I don't like is the fade to white background under the logo at the end - as for the rest of it, I think it's suitably dramatic, and very well executed. These are the best opening titles I've seen that really show Shortland Street has come of age.

At the end of the day, the credits needed updating and that has been done. So, it is not to everyone's satisfaction...but let us hope that the quality (or what some people deem as lack of quality) is no reflection on the quality of the show!

Now when I look at these credits closely, they seem a lot darker than the previous ones - and more 'busy' looking too.

it was mentioned not everyone is on the credits. Its impossible.. They have kept the creds (mostly) to doctors n nurses

I like the titles and pictures bu i'm not sure about theb theme tune. its only 3 years since the last change in theme tune, which i actually really like as it shows dramatic shortland street. Its good to have real pictures of people again

I like them, Its going back to more of a style they had in the First few opening credits of 1992-1994.

Sucks Justine isn't in them.
