@Badzoq it is not the mouse. it is the settings. go to the mouse settings in mac osx. then go to the ball button and set it to dashboard. then set ur right side of the mouse back to right click

Fantastic I've gone like 5 months with my mouse ball not working for my imac. And in the end bought a Magic Mouse from Apple for my mac, but of course the batteries will die so until i get new ones i have to go back to use my Mighty Mouse. Stumbled on ur video and tried it out it really worked stars for ur video dude thanks a lot.

i am a mac user. i use pc too but i prefer mac. even though my gaming is on pc. i do prefer mac. i only use 360 cause of the addons to gta 4 and most my friends have it instead of ps3. i personally like the setup of 360 better than ps3 and you cant really compare wii. i don't hate microsoft. i have windows.

Cheers, mine wasn't scrolling upwards without a lot of pressure. I used ur video technique plus isopropanyl rubbung alcohol and it's brand new again.  I didn't need to open the mighty mouse so thanks!Thanks!

hey! now, another thing, I have a pc (sadly) at home (I am in love with my macbookpro) and the scroll wheel of the laser mouse failed, do you think that the same thing will work on it? I would hate to take all that time to undo that mouse

it depends on how the mouse picks up the movement of the wheel. if it is laser for the wheel then dirt may be over the laser but most is reconizing the wheel moving from movement and i think that it may be just dead or the connector may be out of socket
