I reckon you should go to the wedding - as people have said theyre only getting married once and youre going to the Sydney one so that way you kind of get to do both :)

If it is a dilemma then it would seem obvious you would rather go to the gathering than the wedding. Me personally I hate weddings so it would be a no brainer :)

As to the wedding situation; if you're close to your friends who are getting married, then you defiantly should be going to the wedding. If they're more of an acquaintance then you're probably safe sending them your regrets and heading to Melbourne.

Hi Steve, How close are your friends? If only acquaintances, then the you may go to the gathering, otherwise the wedding is more important. How ironic that a guy in LA sends an Aussie a didgeridoo, which sounds heaps better than a vacuum cleaner pipe.

You should definitely go to the wedding. There'll always be YouTube gatherings. Funny that a guy in the U.S. is shipping a didgeridoo to a guy in Australia. Good sound from the didgeridoo, but you need to take lessons.

This is a good thought expt the Gathering is in melbourne and the wedding in Sydney :P And they are 900kms away (approx hour commercial plane flight) so yeah kinda hard!

Steve, if you have a wireless laptop, why not try to arrange a link with Melbourne on screen, so that we can all see the wedding? Maybe the lads in Melbourne could come up with an agreement. I mean, you are pivotal in AsOne Sydney. It could be fun.
