Personally, I think that none of the chaser's acts should be taken seriously. It is obvious that it is a joke... I do see the point in the song though... When Steve Irwin died... Who heard about how he took his child into a croc pen? That wasn't aired... And one of the reasons half the public knows about this song was because the news shows played it about ten times... Smart, wasnt it?
Don't watch the chasers if you are going to take it seriously.

i dont think most of the public care that the chasers boys are joking about dead people
people should try to realise that they are not trying to bag the actual person's death but talking about how once a person dies how they become a "top bloke"

the point of the song is not making fun of death. it is to point out how after someone dies, people conveniently forget about the wrong things the person did and make them out to be saints. that is what this song pokes fun at. not the actual death of someone.

Yes, hanging a baby over a hungry croc, attacking crocs (seriously! a guy poking at your eyes is gonna hurt)and making it seem as if all australians live in the bush and are scared to death of crocodiles and dingos. Real great role model.

well peter brock DID apparently beat his wife and the radio guy WAS racist but all the other ones Andrew went too far for them. I watch the chaser all the time and love it but i hated this skit.

Pissed me off how everyone is like Steve Irwin was such a hero, a wildlife warrior, blah blah fucking blah. Before he was dead everyone I know was ashamed of him, that he was like Australia's face to the world. Abuse animals, is what he did. Everyone who is bitching and moaning about this song needs to grow a sense of humour.
