I dont care if you take my word for truth or not. I live In a town outside of Kansas City Missouri. at 2:05 am I heard the same thing. It sounded like it was coming from the West but I could not tell. It was so strange that I made a call to 911 to leave a statement. Wow, I have noticed this for a while now. At first I thought it was the neighbor playing music, but it always happens at the same time every day. your recording device is picking up traffic sounds in the distant and it is the motor sound that you are recording from the same camera or whatever you used to record. I have done this before so I know the sound it is almost like white noise sound. It can also be used to record evp which are spirit voices.

I am a sane person and just started realizing this morning that I too have heard this sound and just dismissed it. Kinda wierd hearing reports from various parts of the globe on August and September and just recently on January 10, 2012. I think scientists should look into it. Maybe the Earth's crust is moving abnormally.

@Chitwnhigh88 There are no sounds in the vacuum of space though. The theory that makes the most sense to me is that the magnetosphere is creating the sound. Geomagnetic north has moved more in the last 10 years than it has in the last 400 which indicates we're in the beginning of a pole shift transition which lasts around 1,000 years. We're about 500,000 years over due according to the average, and some odd things will begin happening that won't be explained in any history books.

@ovidiu13E - i might believe this however, the latest report on the news in canada shows that there was NO seismological disturbance whatsoever. that being said - this appears to be coming from above earth. there is something going on with our magnetic fields - perhaps this is a result? but the scientist said a crow pecking the ground would move the needle on the machine and it didn't budge yet people thought a freight train was coming down the streets.

Wow, I have noticed this for a while now. At first I thought it was the neighbor playing music, but it always happens at the same time every day. Then I thought it was some far off construction, but it sounds rhythmic so that didn't make sense. Then I told a friend who said I should Google it. your recording device is picking up traffic sounds in the distant and it is the motor sound that you are recording from the same camera or whatever you used to record. I have done this before so I know the sound it is almost like white noise sound. It can also be used to record evp which are spirit voices.

I am a sane person and just started realizing this morning that I too have heard this sound and just dismissed it. I had no idea this was being heard worldwide, even out in rural villages/towns in Europe. It was early in the morning between 4 and 5 am. I shot up from a dead sleep and remember myself saying WTF is that! I thought a damn plane was going to hit the house at first....for some of you that don't think they've heard it, think back and you too may have heard something dismissed it too.

Im just about 15 miles outside Detroit Michigan and have heard the same sounds, I thought it was maybe the airport, but the rumble carries on for to long, airplanes dont just set there thrusting for that amount of time, they fly away. (just ran outside) I STILL HEAR IT!!!! as i was listening to it, i saw a actual jet go by but that jet made a regular jet noise. the rumbling was deeper and sounded bigger then that jet... oh, you are not alone. i live in Oregon and we have heard it too for months. its a pulsating rumbling sound that pierces your ears, like a low frequency of some kind. I looked it up and it has been reported in several states on the east and west coast, and supposedly all over in different countries. it is so frustrating it makes me feel like my brain is going to explode. and I noticed, not everyone hears it. most ignore it. but I can't. it is just too annoying!
