  • Hi Sanjeev,

This is an amazing recipe and I am going to try it at home. I was wondering if there can be any substitute to cashew paste ? Also, If you don't mind can you tell me who the chef is and can you complement her for me. She cooks amazing.

I will try it in a few days and let you know. Thank you :)

  • I am glad to know that you liked the recipe. You can replace the cashew paste with any other nut paste. The chef in the video is Chef Anupa and she indeed is a great cook. Will definitely compliment her on your behalf.

  • Thanks chef. You can also add extra virgin olive oil so it does not get dry

  • The butter used for basting keeps the kababs moist. However you can baste with olive oil instead.

  • Puris are mostly made with whole wheat flour. In Bengal they make them with refined flour and they are called 'luchi'. We will try and upload the recipe of puri at the earliest convenience.
