haha 1st trick is called a thumb around, second trick is called a sonic, third is a sonic rise. these are the technical names for pen spinning. im a decent pen spinner and i would know.

the first spin he shows you is bascily a finger snap placed at the right spot on the pen. with the middle finger almost in the middle and the thumb off centered.

i learned this when i kept trying it over and over again one night and i can help you when u push the pen over the thumb keep ur thumb steady and straight up and when it comes all the way on the other side only use ur index finger to catch the pen against ur thumb so the whole time keep ur thumb steady straight and stiff dont move it at all because if you try to clasp ur thumb and index finger together to catch it it will fly off so i hope this helped
