Can i customize this kit? I mean, if i buy, i wanted to add a second crash cymbal, another floor tom, and another cymbal working as a china. Is this possible in the TD-4KX2 kit?
hello....i got an new e-drum yesterday, and my question is , can you play on your e-drum like you would play on an acoustik drumset ..... or will it break faster... thx for reponse xD
Nice video, you can read my review of the Roland TD4K2 from the link on my channel and TD-4K2 Video. I have also put a link on there to a great offer which is currently on the kit.
Does this share the same mesh head as the HD-1? And can i hit rim shots on the snare (like on the TD-9?) Basicallly, what are the features that are on the td-9 and not this one?
I have this kit, and it sounds great, just like the video :). Great for practice although i wouldn't recommend it for playing in bands(of course) But its still one AWESOME practice and play around kit. 5/5
@CH1CK3NSPAZZ Nice. Cause i play the HD-1 at my drums school, and i must say, i LOATHE to play on it. Yet, it sounds pretty damn good in videos. Is that the case with this one, and have you played the HD-1 to help me compare?
Is there a dubble bass option on this kit or do I have to buy two pedals in order to play double bass? I'm planing on buying this amazing kit by the end of the month =)
@HappyBirthdayBitches Yes, you can. I'm looking up one to buy, and there's a kit with Pearl double bass heads. I'm not sure how you put them on, but I can confirm your question.
has anyone who has this kit gotten the cy-12 ride for it? i read a review that said that the cy-12 only has the 3 way(edge, bow, bell) compatible with the td9 and higher modules. so does anyone know is the cy-12 pad would have the bow, bell, ride zones on a td4 module? im really tired of having to beat the hell out of my ride to get a bell sound.
@moonlight4yuki I hope so! I'm getting the TD4K2, and am returning a set made by another company that had tons of great sounds (including China cymbals), fantastic price, but a module that does weird stuff- which is why I'm sticking to Roland, which I should have done in the first place!
Couple of questions: do you need a drum amplifier to hear this kit without headphones or is there a built in speaker? Also, if you are using a drum amplifier, what kind is it?
Thanks mate. That really helps. Do you like just use the dial when you press the metronome button, or what? And what kind of amplifier do you use (if you use one). Does it sound good with headphones?
There aren't any songs (Rabb's playing along to stuff he's triggering off that Octapad to his right). There are 25 pre-set kits that you can edit. I just got one of these last week-my first dive into electronics since the old Simmons pads back in the '80's... For a budget kit, the TD-4 is awesome...I'd love to see what the more expensive kits are like!
Hey im planning on getting this set for xmas. Was wondering what amp would be good for metal drumming (bulllet for my valentine) with good bass. And really affordable (nothing over $300 but the lower the better). Really need professional advice on this thanks!
Is it possible to have 2 CY-8 cymbal pads and 1 CY12-R/C cymbal pad connected at the same time? Or does using a CY12R/C limit you to only being able to have 2 connected cymbal pads?
@Myrdred001 i got the kit and have just ordered the CY-12 R/C, and no you can´t have the 2 cy-8 and a cy-12 because the cy-12 needs a second trigger cable to get the bell ... but of course you can have a third cymbal (also the cy-12 but without the cy-12's bell trigger)
I'm selling mine for £600, with Roland RH200 headphones, seat, kick pedal, sticks and original manuals. It's mint condition :) let me know if you're interested.
can anyone tell me if these " v-drums " are really worht it cause i am considering getting me some as u see in my vid i have some pearl exports but i need sompthing i can ajust the volume with .. any sugjestions?
can anyone tell me if these " v-drums " are really worht it cause i am considering getting me some ass u see in my vid i have some pearl exports but i need sompthing i can ajust the volume with .. any sugjestions?
@guitargod909 Yes yopu should definetly buy an electric before acoustic. You can plug your headphones straight into it and you can plug it into your computer to record. Electronic is better for beginners and recording, since for acoustic you have to buy a seperate mic for each part of the drum.
Is reggae the only drum setting that gives the cross stick sound? And one other question, is it possible to set individual pads to different drum kit sounds, or do they all have to be the same one at the same time?
