Christine McVie is so beautiful. She has retained her incredible beauty and grace throughout the decades she was in the business before retiring. Her voice is unlike no others. So beautiful, graceful, and effortless in her singing. Thank you for the music over the many years Christy
For my money THE best British female vocalist ever. Such an incredibly haunting, beautiful aspect to both her vocals AND her songwriting. Her talent won;t soon come pass this way again.
One of Christine best pop ballads. Sensual vocals & nice keys-playing by herself, next to smoky, bluesy guitar arrangements by Danny Kirwan. She said she thought Danny was weird and scary, but every time I hear them play & sing together you almost drown in their chemistry.
How many times I listened to this album, in awe at it's beauty. Are you sure this is the album version, though? Instrumentally, it seems the same, but the voice seems a bit different.
@ShelldaleWay O.K., I believe you, lol. If Christine's songs are at least a bit autobiographical, it seems her relationship with John McVie must have taken a big turn for the worse in late 1972.
On 'Penguin', from 1973, you have Christine songs 'Dissatisfied' and 'Did you ever love me'. Not exactly happy songs. And even 'Remember me'. Sounds like the end of the game. According to Wikipedia, Christine's song 'You make loving fun' was about an affair she had, not about her husband.

God, her voice is haunting. Brings back so many memories. I really believe FM's music pre-Lindsey and Stevie was among the best ever.
