  • So sad :( Btw, this song is not viewable on mobile. Could you please make it so people can see it on mobile?

  • а на французском лучше!

  • He says ugly..... and i want to quote my mother ''do you have a mirror to see yourself?''

  • Where did you find the English version? Please tell me so I can get it.

  • it's so sad song . Poor Quasi. Garou, Daniel. Patric were the best . I don't like Es. at all .She is not really pretty &young & not enough innocent . Too much make up on her . Replace her for the other actress the show much more better

  • Ouch. It looks like he might have accidentally bashed her with his knees at the end when he dropped down at her side.

  • @RosesAreGorgeous

I actually liked how Peobus gave her over to the athorities without any problem because that shows what a dick he his, and now Esmeralda knows it. But this song is so friggin sad I just want to kill everybody like that will bring her back for Quasi ); Poor guy )): I would do anything for him.

  • So sad )):

  • O vídeo é excelente!

Garou nesse musical Notre-Dame de Paris, arrasou.

  • I've never heard this before, I was directed from another website... so can someone please tell me if this is a musical, opera, if it's been on west end/ broadway etc. because this is BEAUTIFUL!

  • in my opinion both versions are great. this story/musical is breathtakingly beautiful. this is one of the most tragic and beautiful things ive ever seen. i just love quasimodo's actions and gestures towards esmeralda theyre so sweet

  • wauw!! it is not death to die for you(L)

  • wauw!!

  • ooooooooooooh soooooooooooo cute!!!! great job Garou!!!

  • First, I watched the French version. Then, I went through a few of the English ones to see how each character stacked up against the French. Not very well, so far (especially Esmerelda, ugh), then... I saw that Garou played both versions.

    FINALLY WE DID SOMETHING RIGHT!

  • I still think *Esmeralda* is freakin ugly.

  • @Liddaofzo me too!! she's suppsoed to be so beautiful but i just don't think this girl is!

  • So beautiful!!!! I love Quasimodo and Esmeralda so much!!!!!

  • oh my goodness. i am in tears. how did he do that?? *wipes tears*

  • this song is so emotional and i cry everytime i hear it.

  • Is it possible to get the DVD of this preformance? I know! I am getting chocked up watching this!!

  • @Livelovecherishelife I knoW I want it too!!!

  • Woah that is a powerful performance.

  • Oh my Gosh! This is such an amazing song!!!! I was crying through the whole thing!!!

  • O interpretare superba, voci de aur ,nu te poti opri sa nu-i asculti (Garou,Fiori si Daniel ) sunt trei nume predestinate acestei opere!

  • Sempre bravissimo Garou...

  • Gorgeous. One of the few English ones where I think the translation works.

  • even if I appreciate this and even if i love so much english language, i must say that latin-from language works better in this play

  • Garou... :))) In real he is even better!!!

  • Garou is also the one who played Quasimodo in London

  • How can singers in English version sin so similarly to those in French version do!? Are they the same people!? The English version sounds magical!

  • yes, french and english cast are almost the same,

  • The English cast is almost the same as the French cast, but Esmeralda, Phœbus and Fleur-de-lys are different. Esmeralda is Tina Arena and Phœbus is Steve Balsamo. I don't know who play Fleur-de-lys in the English version...

  • Fleur-de-Lys in the English version is played by Natasha St.-Pierre. She's very talented, but the French cast is my favourite one. :)

  • @friendheyya Garou sings both versions.

  • Didn't Quasimodo die, too? Just asking...

  • Yeah, he did.

  • @saturdaynightsunday yep, he ends up staving to death.

  • ma che vestito ha questa esmerada francese ?o.O Lola ne ha uno sul rosa in questa scena... comunque bella :)

  • The French one is much more better, but in French or in English, Garou is perfect in this role :D

  • Hi Look I realy apreciate u posting this movie, it is my all time favoret. I had read the book and then seen all the movies, this is the only one that followed the book to the verry end. I absolutly Love Garou and Daniel Lavoie I realy am glad u posted this. This is my favoret song out of the whole movie, I know the whole sone in English and french, If u can Find it u should post the German version of it, and the pollish. Once again thanks a billion. Oh some advice, DONT LOVE SOLDIERS! LOVE QMD

  • Nice, but still, the French one has lots more magic :o I love Garou -soo talented-

  • Amazing.

  • Is this the same man in the clip singing it in the english audio as well?

  • Yes--he's the INCREDIBLY talented French-Canadian singer "Garou."

  • Why did Esmeralda have to die?

    Loved the song

  • Because Notre Dame de Paris is about social injustice.

  • What's the use of putting the subtitles saying the same thing in different words???

  • The subtitles were from the French DVD, they had to change the lyrics to fit the songs (supposedly :D) for the English version

  • he is singin in english

  • this is so sad :(

  • i love this song, it's so sad. I have a story where the girl loves to sing and dance and she nearly dies. The guy thinks she is dead and goes nearly histarical. My friend showed me this song after she read that chapter. I am totally in love with it and i even had him mention this song in it when i revised it. thx for posting this! i love you!

  • saddest. song. ever.

  • oh wow i love this song xx

  • this is a really good conjugation of the original! yay!

  • I was wondering if there is an Elglish version...great job Garou...there are still decent and talented people out there, there is hope still...

  • God, I just bawled my eyes out.

  • <333 garou best translated english version in the play

  • Garouuuu neee, love him!!! He's so talented!

  • I went and saw this when it was on the West End. Truly incredible show. I was stunned when he walked out at the end, because he didn't have his hunchback on, so he was normal and smiling. he looked like a completely different person.

  • GAROU!! Yeah!

  • very well done actually

  • Great Video

  • nice synching!

i love this song and musical!
