  • @TheStepho67 agreed.!!!

  • I fucking love England. If you're from England you fucking rule. You still love music... real music. At 0:57 there's a dude holding two crutches up like a fucking lighter. Now that's dedication. Best fucking piece of land in the world. So regretting 1776 right now.

  • @Konig1066 u should try bonnie scotland m8.glasto v tin the park is like scotland v england.we dont have wheelchair ramps 4 spaztiks like u. p.s.rosie jones would get scrumpt

  • @TheStepho67 Scotland may be nice, but not as good as england :)

  • @Konig1066 Well said mate :)

  • @Konig1066 i WOULD RATHER BE AMERICAN TO BE HONEST.

  • @mrtamberineman123 I'd rather not squabble over which nationality is preferable and enjoy the music.

  • @Konig1066

I fucking love England too from my very childhood... love language, people, loved old names of the streets, the weather and the very air in London where I used to live once for four years, happy me. But the best you possess is probably Music, you right

  • @Konig1066 Hell yeah we do!

  • @Konig1066 u r officially my fave American!

    congrats ;)

  • @Konig1066 haha nice comment

  • Oasis truly were an Oasis in a desert of crap music.

  • @brieflycake that's only if you listen to crap music :P

  • @MrRyanSams In the last 10 years you didnt get a lot of choice, it was mainly oasis or nothing, because all else was (and is) crap.

  • @brieflycake I completely disagree. There have been some incredible bands within the last ten years, Oasis isn't the pinnacle of good music. I like them, but they definitely aren't the best band of the last ten years. I don't caught up in the way they talk about themselves, I just listen to the music.

  • @MrRyanSams In terms of their music they are definately the best band since the likes of pink floyd and the beatles. There have been some good bands in the last 10 years, such as Travis, Coldplay, stereophonics etc, but none have compared to oasis

  • @brieflycake since The Beatles we've had, The Stone Roses, The Verve, Jeff Buckley (and his band who were incredible), The Black Keys, EST, Joshua Redman's Elastic Band, Queens Of The Stone Age (you either like them or you don't), and so many other bands. Oasis are great, I just don't fid them too original. I mean, they've written some great songs, but I like bands who aren't afraid to be different even if that means being ridiculed by... well, Oasis. Let's face it, they do a lot of that :P

  • @MrRyanSams find*

  • @brieflycake I agree with you though, I think Stereophonic and Travis are great bands

  • 1.02 why is it that everytime i watch videos of concerts, there are fantastic looking girls in the audience? where i live, people who like good music are either blokes or ugly women, the good looking women are usually into taio cruz and crap like that

  • brilliant, comic, winning way of dealing with the situ. great band

  • Noel che sexy!!!

  • ero li a stoccarmi le ossa!!!!

  • Oasis is not even bigger than Nirvana. Oasis does not even represent a generation. Nirvana was the last rock band that revolutionized rock music. I'd like to see someone disagree!!! No one had revolutionized rock since the 90's

  • @zoetheband Oasis were bigger than Nirvana in England. I don't think Nirvana revolutionised rock music at all. I think that's just music press speil - delusions of grandeur. I'd like to know what it is you mean by "Nirvana revolutionised rock music"?

  • @IDrinkYourMilkshake8 England? the Island? What good has come out of that Island lately?

What planet u live in u ignorant ape? What did Nirvana revolutionized? Did the Heavy Metal/Hair bands not dissapear once Nirvana appeared? Did the electronic bands not dissapear (Duran Duran etc)?

What happened to the Rockstars dating the models & riding the limousines? Gone off the face of the planet once Nirvana introduced their music? Who sounded like Nirvana before them? No one!

    Oasis = Beatle copy!

  • @zoetheband Any "good" that comes out of anywhere is incidental to it's geography. The important factor is the people that create. E.G - for Germans to be proud of Kraftwerk, or Americans to be proud of Elvis, or Liverpudlians to be proud of the Beatles is ridiculous. These people are no-one else's but their own to be proud of. All the thing's you are talking about are unimportant.

  • @zoetheband Also, rockstars do still date supermodels. And what does that have to do with anything? Electronic music is selling more than ever, in it's various forms, be it trance, techno, ambient, acid house, or just electronic bands such as Animal Collective, or Boards of Canada etc. I always thought that Black Sabbath sounded kind of like Nirvana, as did the Beatles, the Pixies and Sonic Youth, to name but four.

  • @zoetheband And Led Zeppelin, of course.

  • @zoetheband if Oasis = Beatles copy

Then Nirvana = Alice in Chains copy

  • @olf1997 Nirvana and Alice in Chains have total different styles dumb ass. They dont borrow lyrics like Oasis does from the Beatles. Nirvana has a way bigger influence in the music world than Alice in Chains.

  • @zoetheband So Oasis can't credit their idols? As much as a Nirvana fan I am, they were heavily influenced by Alice In Chains & Pearl Jam

  • @olf1997 you are full of shit, Nirvana is heavily influenced by The Melvins.

  • @zoetheband It doesnt matter who influenced them tbh!! The fact is Nirvana only became world famous now becuase of Kurt Cobain's death!! Like what Brieflycake said, Oasis are far better musically & lyrically!! Nirvana made Smells Like Teen Spirit, which is about WHAT??? It has NO meaning!! 'I hate my Life & I want to die!' What a good name for a song that is!! Oasis made songs meaningful & actually have something to do with anything!

  • @zoetheband Oasis are so much better than Nirvana, its almost funny your even drawing a comparison. Nirvana are crap. Oasis embody true Rock 'n' Roll.

  • @brieflycake Lets see who remebers Oasis 15 years from now and who remembers Nirvana.

You think Don't look back in Anger is at the level of Smells Like Teen Spirit? Nirvana represents an era. What era does Oasis represent? NONE!!! Maybe in England, not here in the U.S

  • @zoetheband Numbers does not constitute how good a band is. Smells like teen spirit is one of the most overated songs ive ever known. Oasis are far better musically and lyrically than Nirvana. Your attitude towards them is one of someone who has only really heard their very early stuff, like Dont Look Back In Anger. For your information they got far better than that later on. Oasis represents the era of britpop and the 90s. Oasis may not be important in the U.S, but neither is nirvana in England

  • @zoetheband In my town there's not a lot of music knowledge, but if i put on Wonderwall everyone knows it, if i put Smells like teen spirit maybe just few ones know it, anyway I like Nirvana :)

  • Name one single Oasis song that is greater than a Beatle song?

Im an Oasis fan but they are not the best band ever. There are easily 200 bands better than Oasis and I can name them easily.

  • @zoetheband name 200 bands that are better than oasis you muppet

  • @82RN I will name them as soon as you name any Oasis song that is better than a Beatle song. Ha ha ha and the Rangers are worst than a 3rd world soccer team.

  • Jamie Draven???? 0:23 - 0:25 ?? xd xd

  • THERE NEVER WAS, THERE DEFINITELY ISNT AND THERE NEVER WILL BE ANYTHING BETTER THAN OASIS.

  • @hypercatjohn Pffffff sure buddy, lets just hope 50 years from now someone remembers Oasis just like they do The Beatles! One Beatle alone is greater than all Oasis together! Oasis is good but thats all.

  • good on noel for sayin that at the start

  • Should never open you mouth as you might get a pint of piss in it. :)

  • 2 ppl are not Mad Fer It

  • Makes you smile really when you see the beginning when they have to halt it because a barrier broke!...Years ago there WERE no barriers at all!...If you got down the front you knew you had to hold on for your fucking life!...

  • omg what year was this in???? Liam sounds friken awesome and I know this isnt before 2002.

  • 2005

  • @fxsaberboy 2005

  • what did Noel say in 3:00 - 3:10 ?

  • @96Dano Your gunna get the sack,

  • oh yeah...thanks!

  • well done for the guy for noticein the barrier

  • FUCKIN EPIC

  • don;'t and didnt you just LOVE how Noel and liam were sooooo...

    NORMAL throughout their career.....

    some might say arrogant.....

Definatley maybe to that one...BUT...didnt they remain the SAME throughout their MASS career......and NOt change....

Unlike MANY of todays "real" bands.....

    RIP oasis....

    Gone.....NEVER forgotton!

  • how did liam know about the barrier..?

It's something i always wondered even after being here......?

  • because they could see the crowd surging forward,

  • i have to say this is a big contender for the best 5 minutes of my life, the atmosphere was superb!

  • Wasn't it!!!!!

SOOO glad to of been at this gig AND at Eastlands....

    And...it DID get fcuking NUTS!!!!!!

  • The best band that ever lived!!!

  • @MrRyanjackson You clearly need to listen to some more music man, Oasis are decent but no where near the best. Realisticly speaking.

  • @mrtamberineman123 subjective mate, oasis changed the lives of fuckin THOUSANDS...just because you dont dig them as much doesnt make them anything less than life defining for those that care.

  • @mrtamberineman123 I dunno. I can easily see someone connecting on a visceral level with Oasis more than they connect with anyone else. If that's what does it for them, then thats it. Some people are higher on emotion than others, some more aggresive, some higher on logic. I think the music you connect with the most depends on this kind of trait.

  • @mrtamberineman123 its all about personnel opinons, who cares?

  • oasis intro... supernova....

  • oasis forever

  • that 's a real rock n roll band . OASIS forever

  • 'we'll get it sorted and we'll get on with it, and we will fucking tear the roof off'

Noel Gallagher what a fucking legend

  • were can i get this gig on dvd can any1 help?

  • You'll get it with Lord Don't Slow Me Down

  • the "lord dont slow me down" dvd has the concert on it.

  • fuck me this crowd is nuts!

  • i was there, it still brings back the goosebumps wen i watch this concert, absolutely amazing you will never get a better concert EVER thats a FACT

  • I was at this gig and Heaton park the first gig, Heaton park was miles better, the best gig of my life and no I didn't get a refund!!

  • went on the sunday

  • just look at the crowd 1:15 unreal

    class song

  • surely they knew there was something up at the start of they gig when they walked on saying ''wow wow wow that aint too good'' like they knew the barrier was cracked, but then liam must of thought sod it and just played, they could of knew before, but they sorted it and played an amazing gig

  • Fuck you Blur !!!!!!!!!!! 0_0

  • Fucking bang up for saturday

  • we'll tear the fucking roof off haha!

  • Its amazing how in-tune Noel was to stadium safety at the very beginning. He was totally looking out for the fans!!

  • More like he didn't want to have to refund everyone if health and safety shut the gig down....

  • Yeah he is the consummate business man isn't he? But you can never be too careful with crowds this big. People could be crushed or they could rush the stage if the barrier is breeched. safety first :)

  • LIAM LIAM LIAM LIAM LIAM!! WAAAAAY!!

  • jacknoopy, liam and noel + co have never mime a song, the only time they did was on top of the pops to take the piss cos the producers told them they cudnt do it live.. they HATE faking performances to sound good..

  • LOL thats why Liam is legend. It's him, he's boss.

  • considering he didn't start signing because the barrier cracked. if it was NOT live then he would 'supposedly' be singing in the backround without singing. Your totally wrong, couldn't be more wrong "jacksnoopy" Long live The Gallagher brothers. LIVE FOREVER !!

  • I was there and can confirn, it was fucking live. This bit with the barrier is edited tho cause it took a good 20 minutes to sort out an for everyone to move back. Fuckin legends!

  • glad they started again, first attempt wasn't great, second attempt was a lethal performance

  • I like Noel's attitude when he criticizes to crap celebrities who really sucks, like Britney Spears o Eminem >:)

  • Agree :D he doesnt lie or keep his mouth shut for peace sake hehe

  • @soniccvn It's all very well calling Eminem talentless because he's a hip-hop artist, but come on, rapping is not easy - it does require quite an intricate feel for rhythm and timing. Also, when you can write lyrics as well as Eminem, then you probably have more of a right to call the shots of whether he's talentless or not.

There is good and bad in every genre, including hip-hop. Learn to widen your tastes and you will get the best out of music.

  • I saw em the next day at milton keynes and yeah it did go fucking nuts! best night of my life!

  • what a gig that was

  • i wish noel would talk more often ... he is one funny ass bloke.

  • Lets hear one of your songs then you idiot!

    This is fucking class

  • ''you're gonna get the sack, and you're gonn
