  • fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkk that shit

  • Just walk into it....

  • Oh my goodness...

  • cool

  • wow

  • wow thats scary that would suck if u got sucked in it

  • @ugmoin99 It would be like hell

  • So this is what happens when a tornado meets a volcano!

  • Everytime I see fire tornado all I see is a f*cking whirling fire!!! I wanna see an ACTUAL tornado go over a fire!

  • fucking sweet!! :D

  • WOW this is cool

  • More like a smoke tornado

  • This is not a fire tornado.

  • I'd always thought they were just called "firestorms". Is there a difference between fire tornadoes and firestorms, or are they just two terms for the same thing?

  • eh, @gymnasticgirl60, not always true. Smoke can be brown, black, grey, even some times a faint blue. but your right, once its being knocked down, what you see is steam... therefore causing it to appear as a white smoke.

  • This is indeed a legitimate fire whirl.. Very rare!

And amazing to be caught on film.

Scary but beautiful at the same time.

  • It's called a fire tornado because the fire generates its own updrafts. Sometimes they can cause the air to swirl as it rises and spin up a twister. Its just like what happens in a storm only the fire is the energy source.

  • Holy shit your STUPID! wow.

Dirt devil? Thats a fuckin vacuum jackass!

  • wow ... you keep enjoying your tv dinners you sheltered fuck - learn to be a little more cultural (dirt devil is a term for dust tornados u uneducated fuck)

  • what is wrong with you

  • Looks like a black tornado. I dont see how this is fire related. I see fire in the horizon but not in the tornado itself. Im not saying youre wrong, Id just like to know how its a fire whirl.

  • Black tornadoes are only black because of debris. But a fire that has not been put out is black also. This is a fire whirl since there are no funnel clouds or wall clouds.

  • I knew tornadoes became black from debris, but from a fire makes sense too, due to the smoke. I didnt notice the lack of a wall or funnel cloud, though. Thanks for pointing that out. I love storms, so its nice to learn more about them.

  • No problem! Im pretty savvy with the weather also.

  • you've missed something.

it's also black due to the smoke. fire whirls can carry smoke, warm air and fire. so, smoke is black; correct? that's why the firewhirl appears to be black. not all firewhirls have smoke. some just contain fire and warm air.

  • smoke is black unless the fire has been put out

  • fuck i bet Avatar Ang did this!!

  • lmao

  • fuckin aussies love a bit of arson mad bastards

  • fuck u im an aussie :-)

  • wow

  • That's inctredible, the heat and the winds by this wildfire formet a real mini-mescyclone with 2 or 3 tornadoes...incredible.

  • Fireman have a killer job.

  • DAAAAAAAAAAAMN

  • nature is crazy..

  • then your fucking blind. a pair of glasses

  • yeah I'm American but Spanish was my first language so some words give me trouble. I am sorry too. I appreciate the apology are we good?

  • What did you just call me you piece of horse crap? I actually, uhh LOOKED IT UP IN A DICTIONARY!!IT'S GRAINS!!!

    spelt

hardy wheat: a hardy wheat of inferior quality, sometimes grown in mountain regions

    Latin Name: Triticum spelta

  • Ehh Spelt is a kind of wheat.

  • ey i aint tellin u off on ur spelling who cares how we spell but i think its stupid to comment on someones spelling and spell soemthignw rogn urself thats just fuckin stupid and i dont type this with microsoft word i happen to jst type this i aint gotta have spellcheck to make sure my shits right because i aint that perfect and niether are u thats y u use ms word to make sure ur stuffs right

  • and u spelled yeah wrong and u shouldnt have 2 end points so if u think ur perfect then y do u fuck up to?

  • damn i never siad iw as perfectly educated and thaqt was a typo to but i dont point out other peoples prolems and call them a dipshit on it if i do the same thing myself who care if u have a typo? it dont fuckin matter

  • umm u spelled laughs wrong too so u aint got room to talk

  • Where be the fire?

  • looks very slow

  • ooh thats bad

  • Holy shit!

  • People on wikipedia can go and change it

  • well that would sure suck to be a fireman there. o_o

  • Not necessarily, dipshit.

  • Regardless, it's still an awesome video! It's interesting to see wind in action. I can't imagine anyone who would see that thing and then let it hit them after saying, "It's just a ...." I'm not surprised that no one is out there though it can get really dangerous. :/

    ~

  • read the info man this was shot by an emergency team i doubt they didnt put that here... but why they was filming instead of shoting the fire down?.... aaaah thats the kuestion my friend

  • wikepidea isnt right you know..

  • what isn't wikipedia right about?

  • because anyone who has an account can go in and change the information.

  • that is why wikipedia articles cite sources.

  • Wikipedia can never be trusted, alot of Universities dont allow access to it because of the 'any one can edit' policy.

  • that was not a fire tornado just a dust devil made by smoke!

  • dust devil enhanced by fire.

  • its more like a smoke turining tornado wannabe

  • it's like the apocalysp' O_O

  • aw thats yer president a yankey cow no no i mean yer maw hahahahahahahahahahahahahh

  • aw thats yer president a yankey cow no no i mean yer maw hahahahahahahahahahahahahh

  • gay.

  • That is not even a tonado it is just smoke!

  • technically not a tornado, just a heat vortex similar to a dust devil

  • temperature in that tornado was very hight!

  • My wife and I saw one of these on a mountain. It was more similar to a large dust devil of smoke and fire. Interesting enough we both though we were looking at a tornado, but when it broke up, we wrote it off and forgot about it...until now.

  • more like smoke tornado :)

  • lilymu6 that's funny

  • good luck putting that out

  • i know u got to thing outthere that could kill u!!fire and a tornado haha what if u get suck in and droped in fire that would suk..

  • That "skull" requires alot of imagination

  • HOLY CRAP!

    HOLY CRAP!

    HOLY CRAP!

Smokey the bear can't help this one!!

  • lol i see the"skull"!

  • it didnt load!

  • I don't see the skull, but seeing as I am scared of skulls I don't mind not seeing it. I'm not scared of spiders, snakes, heights or anything else but skulls make me very uneasy. I don't really know why...

  • so are you scared of your own lol?

  • lol no of course not. I think what started it was when I was a little girl; someone said that if you stand in front of a mirror and flash the lights on and off really fast, then you can see your skull. Well I did that and being an imaginative kid I thought that I did see my skull. Well that freaked me out and I still don't like strobe lights and skulls. Not scared of strobe lights and skulls just make me uneasy.

(This is my longest post ever!)

  • so are you scared of your own lol?

  • omg! there is a skull at the beginning of the vid. stop it at 4 sec. and look on the tornado !

  • it looks more like a sideways face :\

  • awesome

  • looks fun

  • that fire tornadoe is scary i almost5 pee my pants

  • holy crap

  • its a skull vortex dude , do u know wat this means.this changes peoples lifes.

  • omg it really is a fire vortex (fire tornado)u could see it spinning

  • hmm im over it, when i was in the 4th grade and i used 2 have a paranoia of tornadoes, straight up fucking cold sweats b4 i went 2 sleep thinkin bout tornadoes

  • no shit. . .me too. . .I think because they were so big, and I'm so small. Also, I still dream about MULTIPLE tornadoes when I'm stressed out or overwhelmed, and they say that if you dream about them, you're telling yourself that you have a lot of stress going on. I know it sounds corny.

  • nah, not corny. I myself am afraid of spiders! lol loser aren't I?

i dont know, just that all those poisens ive heard about and those tiny eight legged insects crawling all over me just freaks me out.

  • well i live in lowell so i dont really think 2 hard on spiders, but if i saw a black widow spider inside my house, i would shit myself, then just leave the house with evrything in it, hmm, i think about tornadoes when i was yunger cuz at like 8 i used 2 have a bed time, and thats what i'd think about at night, and i wouldl luv goin 2 school just so my mind can keep off that shit

  • wow tats amazing cheers for the info i neav had heard of this before,u learn sumthink new everyday :)

  • man! its only me, or the dark cloud forms a skull face closing the mouth? at 00:27 and 00:30, if u see the video three times u ll be able to see!

  • i see it

  • i see something but i cant tell if its a skull

  • i dont see shit

  • man u have no idea how stupid that sounds

  • ok i dont even seen the damn skull.. where is it??

  • im not saying it is a sign of evil or whatever all im saying is that there's an optical illusion that looks like that.

its like trying to make animals out of clouds. u dont have to get all aggresive.

  • I dont think it sounds stupid, but it's just an anomaly. I see this skull, it's at the top of the "fire devil" looking to the left and slightly down. Pretty cool anomaly for sure.

  • how hot would a fire need to get before it created one of these?

  • tornadoes really scares the crap out of me!

  • That is called a fire whirl. The fire is burning so HOT it is producing its own weather.Very unstable air above the fire just like a thunder storm, but totally different energy feeding the tornado.

  • i wet my pants

  • thats fucking scary

  • wow, thats pretty cool! :)

  • yes but try being in it :X

  • kewl

  • ..omg.

  • Actually it is an extreme Thermal, a fire Vortex. The Fire is sucking in air to feed.

  • Thank you! I wish that people would realize that every little vortex isn't a tornado.

  • lol...people running into it to see what happens? Seeing flying flaming bodies would not be a pretty site

  • Wow a twister and a forest fire my lucky day lol :)

  • then fuck off and never darken on these type of videos again

  • Lame, if you didnt want to learn about weather, why did you click the video?

  • If you want to learn, listen: A tornado is a unique weather phenomenon meeting certain criteria. Its cause is strictly weather related. This rotating column has an entirely different cause (the fire). You can call it a fire tornado if you are using the loose definition of the word tornado. Because it is actually so very different than a tornado, many firefighters call it a fire whirl (at least in southern california).

  • Fire whirls can be as small as 2 feet high-tornados cannot. Tornados are much more violent. If a fire whirl nears the strength of a tornado, it does not make it a tornado. This is where the confusion lies. There's nothing wrong with the lay person calling a fire whirl a fire tornado, because that's what it looks like. If you don't normally see them, you will use whatever words are in your vocabulary.

  • that is definetly a twister

  • All of you people who are saying "it's just a dust cloud" and "it's moving so slow." are dumbasses. You go stand next to that thing and then tell me it's just dust and it's moving slow. Fricken idiots.

  • its just smoke

  • wanna see the exact speed its spining? run to it.

  • ok one... how can you tell exactly how fast its spinning on the inside? two, pretty sure it would be damn hot even if there is no fire. three, dont underestimate nature...

  • 1. distance/time. still frame shotA is 0.00, another frame .05s later could determine its distance traveled, but you also have to determine the physical distance from the camera to the tornado. 2. damn straight.

  • my bad, misread. on the inside? theres a function of the speed on the outside of the tornado vs. the inside where geometry plays a major role in determining its speed.

  • ahhhh i see thanks =)

i just hate the whole mentality of 'its not even going that fast, i wouldn't run away from it' quoted from arse-chick down there...

  • aye, suppose they're half a mile away, then that tornado is traveling at, say, 110mph with smoke at temperatures similar to the fire itself. It is a tornado generated by fire, thus, fire tornado.

  • HOW DO YOU KNOW ALL THIS? Oh wait we're on the internet '-__- Never mind.

  • Thank god for mathematics, theres a lot of brilliant deductions that can be made when its used properly.

  • You people must not know much about a tornado.

If you ever watch one, you will notice that the top and sides of the tornado appear to rotate slowly, almost lazily, but inside the winds can reach over 300 mph.

  • it shouldnt be called a FIRE tornado without the FIRE and it was just smoke

  • That isn't a tornado. That is just the wind blowing the smoke sideways causing it to slowly spin. It it were, it would be much faster than that let me assure you.

  • now thats a so called tornado i wouldent run from lol

  • you would not run from that? Did know it sucked the driver oa trucj right out and flipped the truck over several times? Not in ths particular case. Look up fire whirls, and you will see the devastation is massive. The worse case was a firewhirl that kille thousands in Japan.

  • this video fails

  • nice footage but it's not a tornado and also where is the fire in it???

  • thats just smoke

  • Okaaaaayyyyy?

  • Well people...where there is that kinda smoke...there has to be a fire of some sort. Flames visible, or not.

  • i didnt seee fire

  • I don't think this is a fire tornado, I thionk the fuel for whatever reason is just burning extra black there and rising (of course). There's no tornado at all Sped. -Drade Coda

  • Cant you see the rotation????

  • looks more like a smoke tornado to me

  • type in tornado and click the first link......i almost shit my pants just watchin it. But yeah, this is lame.

  • no flame waste of time

  • where the hell is the fire!

  • thats pretty fuckin cool

  • Craziness doesn't begin to describe it

  • nc smoke no fire

  • The signs of time.

  • For what I can see the world still full of surprizes we havent discovered yet.

  • thats just spinning smoke whats the big deal?!

  • ya umm.... spinning smoke that sucked people out of trucks picked up like toys and killed due to its hugh temps of over 300 degrees and fierce winds.

  • pretty boring

  • i ever thoughtthere was such a thing nw i have seen everything.....wat next..........

  • bohh

  • =OOOO

  • Ive seen some huge defined fire tornadoes in Bulgaria

  • wow...that was amazing...fire tornados are very dangerous. they get fuel from the air and they just get bigger and bigger and bigger. so plz dont do that again u might get killed.

  • dont do waht again, the guy was like 500 feet away, and probably zoomed in, this was a forest fire so unless is local fire department was retarded he should have bean at a safe distance

  • The heat from a forest fire, or ANY massive, extremely hot burning fire CAN create a vacuum effect....it sucks up all the oxygenated air as ...fuel.. kind of like forcing air into a carburetor... winds from a fire tornado to the best of my knowledge CAN reach up to 300mph in the mouth....it CAN happen.

  • Yikes! What the hell?! Is that possible?

  • cool
