  • You would pay $100 for Itzhak, Sarah Chang, Edvin Csury etc. I understand the hours taken to play this difficult piece, but i cant pay $100 for a local violin soloist to play it imperfect.

  • Perhaps it's the recording, alot of the Harmonics sound missed and the arpeggios blurred. Allegro Moderato blurred. But I'm sure it's the bad recording. I'm a massive Itzhak Perlman fan so anything else inst as precise. Never the less I enjoyed! BRAVO! I'll see you in Adelaide in May! throwing up if I should get the $100 seats.

  • Fantastic performance! I had the opportunity to see her live with the El Paso Symphony Orchestra a few years ago. They played The Red Violin Suite by John Corigliano. A mind-blowing performance as well! Brava Ms. St. John!

  • I first heard her on public radio and they played her version of Carmen. Then I had to buy all the c.d.'s that Border's had of Lara.
