@scrotumup Imho your wrong on both counts.First off the eastern brown is more toxic on a drop for drop basis to MICE... Their however is no evidence that it is more potent on a drop for drop basis to humans..Humans are not mice and the ld50 mice tests are not credible at all when looking at humans. I've read studies on bites by kraits and eastern browns on humans and while it is hard to judge from such things.... imho the krait is more potent to humans than the brown[ through its very close]
@scrotumup As for the mambas bite being "worse overall".... Its hard to say... The mamba has longer fangs and a larger venom yield... but I dont know if it causes worse symptoms.. Krait bites during the day dont cause as severe symptoms as krait bites at night[ which constitutes 85 percent of krait bites]...But its hard to say which causes more severe symptoms...a krait bite at night or a mamba bite
@yobro250 From what I researched Black Mamba bite symptoms typically manifest very rapidly compared to Krait bites and with both snakes the symptoms are difficult to reverse once established. Also, there have been a few cases a Black Mamba bites causing acute renal failure on top of their neuro/cardiotoxic venom. I can't say which snake is more toxic to humans as tests are not done on humans. Taipan bites also have a complex venom mixture that can be difficult to treat if left too long.
@bigclown187 Yeah it is insanely venomous...For humans... I think that the krait family[ Bungarus] have the most toxic venom drop for drop.. The banded krait is said to be much less toxic than the other kraits but with the exception of the banded krait.... the krait family is the most venomous to humans out of any snake family.

The venom is highly potent and their danger shouldn't be underestimated.

Note to Self: Don't grab any snake in Sri Lanka with the intention of discovering if they have undivided subcaudal scales or not.
