  • who is so stupid as to give "dislike" this beautiful song?

  • 노래.진짜 멋있네!

  • 꿀보컬이닷!

  • when Patrick hits those low notes <3 *eargasm

  • this song is so AWESOME !!! I love this song so much

  • Surprised that the word "Bieber" has to accure in every comment.

  • Patrick Stump's voice = Eargasm.

  • fuck his voice is amazing.

  • why does the crowd act like they dont know this song, its a amazing song! what is wrong with them?!

  • How could anybody dislike this?

  • @utube146

ever hear of Pierce the Veil?

    he sings pretty high. ;D

  • patrick looks sad and petes all jumpy xD

  • JIZZ JIZZ EVERYWHERE

  • thank you for uploading this entire show! fucking awesome!!!! Gave me something to do for a while also lol.

    great band.

  • 2 people are GIGANTIC GAY FAGGOTS WHO TAKE FAT BLACK PENISES IN THEIR ASSHOLE AND GUZZLE THEIR CUM WITH THEIR RECTUM TO BECOME BUTTPLUNDERED

  • Joe always sounds good... well... he sounds okay, better than pete's live crap

  • HOLY SHIT 2:52 JOE SANG A GOOD HARMONY!! WTF

  • This is my favourite song! So amazing!

Also, I have to say, Patrick has very nice legs. :3

  • 2 people are jelous that Patrick Stumps can sing better then Justin Bieber.

  • @RafaS8er yeah i agree.

  • 2 people love Justin Bieber.

  • @jusmekay i honestly much prefer fall out boy guitars more than damned things. its true im not a fan of metal but fob sounds heaps better. i much prefer the more rythmic style of fob to the shredding etc

  • Man u see all the other popular bands in the world, like green day, sum 41, three day grace, U2, Killers, and Sum 41, u see all of them, but I bet u that not a single one of those bands can make a better vocal part then Patrick Stumps, I mean its impossible to be as good as him, it even gets to the point that its just so rediculous that hes is that good. Fall Out Boy Forever :'D

  • This is an awsome performance and patrick is still my idol and the best singer ever. I still however cant help but notice that joe doesnt look to phyced and doesnt have all the energy he used to. I wonder if this is because he was over fall out boy. this may be likely as this was just a little before the break up or "hiatus". god i miss fall out boy. I hope they get back together so bad.

  • I wonder why joe did'nt move so much..

  • damn patrick killed it!! beast

  • 3:12 - 4:10 is the best thing I've heard Patrick sing live.

  • it's amazing how much more energy he has now that he's gone solo

  • OMG Joe is singing! How beautiful<3

  • patricks voice in the last chorus of this song... i dunno just gives me chills... its amazing!!!! and thats live too. his voice is just perfect

  • This or Rebecca black? Hahaha.

  • pete wentz is such a fagget

  • Voice? Myles Kennedy. Nuff said.

Patrick does have an impressive range, albeit.

  • Got range like no mother fucker KNOWS!

  • Fall Out Boy sounds so much more soulful and good when they play a little laid back and let patrick dish out his god-like pipes.

  • Anyone know what guitar patrick is playing??

  • @ClarkJ2012 gretsch stump-o-matic guitar. his signature edition.

  • any other guitarists out there love joes lead guitar in almost like every song?!?

  • Patrick lost a lot of weight after FOB went on Hiatus, he also went solo, and the live performances are this good without a sign of autotune, his breathing has gotten so much better, his singing now it's amazing.

  • This is a love song told from the perspective of the hips

  • ahh yes! I love Joe's back-up singing at the part when it goes "this way you will always know"

  • yeah men!!!!

  • yeah men!!!!

  • Sup guys, where is this concert?

  • Patrick you are my idol

    i love you patrick

    im not gay

    jajajaja

    amagazine voice

  • For some weird fucking reason, when he was singing the last chorus, my internet crashed

    Can't handle the greatness?

  • So it was Joe who sings the backing vocal in the 2nd chorus: Always know?

  • fuckinrule man!!!!

  • why did they autotune patrick's voice? wtf? the man is plenty good enough already. and beyond that, it's obvious. after watching hundreds of Fall Out Boy performances and attending one concert, you learn what patrick's voice sounds like. this is a disgrace to a great voice.

  • @corgi862 Just saying this, but Patrick has done almost every genre on the earth. He has sung rap/hip-hop, pop, rock, funk, and soul. Don't doubt the skills of Patrick Stump and his amazing pipes. He can sing way better than Brendon can, musically speaking. Like I said: Just sayin'. ^_^

  • stfu patrick is the best forget brandon u stupid fuckers

  • why dosen't this have 2000000 views!?

  • i have to say i prefer panic!

  • Justin bieber is shit compared to patrick

  • @UsukiHana That's pretty obvious, but it has to do Justin?

  • @UsukiHana But Bieber always is shit....

  • @UsukiHana But...WHY are you mentioning Justin Bieber?

  • @carolwinger it was a reply to another comment

  • @UsukiHana sounded like you were referring to the two 'dislikes' this video has. It's just annoying how you can't watch music videos on youtube without coming across Bieber comments. Oh well, take care.

  • this is probably my favorite fall out boy song. this live performance is really amazing. patrick's voice is amazing, i am in love with it. this song is just a great song. it sux, i've never been to a fall out boy concert, and i'd love to, but they're "taking a break" or some shit. i'd really love to be at a concert and hear this song live, cause it's a great one

  • songs like this one, make me miss fall out boy.

  • pete s jacket ♥

  • I wonder why don´t Joe and Pete sing backing vocals? Backing vocals Joe´s singing in this vid are good, and it always makes song better live.

  • watching this one and the watching the others from the same concert....makes me almost thing this = playback lol

  • Pete's always all over the place. XD

  • i just love them. :DDDDD

  • Headfirst is one of Fall Out Boy's best songs ever! It really is a tough song to sing. I doubt there is a male singer alive that can match Patrick's range for this song :)

Even though I hated the mild autotune, I gotta say that it did drastically improve their performance level. This is what Live In Phoenix should have sounded like.

  • @utube146

Actually I think this would be a great song for Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco to cover. He has such great vocals.

  • @corgi862 Brendon Urie's the one who sounds most like Stump. Therefore, if you're a Fall Out Boy fan, most likely you'll like Panic! At The Disco too (or vice versa)

Brendon Urie's voice has a better tone imo, but loses to Stump in power. But I do think that you're right, he should do a cover of this song and it could be awesome :D

  • @utube146 I think Brendon does have power to his voice and I think Brendon has a little bit more of a vocal range than Patrick. It is so funny because everyone says the ound the same but there are a lot of differences in their voices. I do believe you are right though about the liking Panic and FOB.

  • @corgi862 Patrick has a wider range than Brendon, but he loses out in vocal tone. And Brendon's voice sounds the most like Patrick out of all the singers out there, which is a good thing, because I think both of them have different strengths but yet are just as good :)

  • @utube146

Yes that is true. I believe Brendon can do more genres though, Patrick's voice is very soulful and it does very well with the song he sings and genres like the Blues or jazz. I think Brendon can do all types of genres from P!ATD's first album which consisted of a lot of different genres to the classic rock feeling on Pretty... Odd. I am excited to hear Patrick's solo album and P!ATD's new album which I have been waiting for years.

  • although i love patrick.... brendon urie can sing in the same range as him and they sound alike too.

  • this song isnt that hard to sing. i definately agree that the autotune improved this and that live in pheonix was bad quality and this is much better

  • @Prettygooddrummer *Agrees* this song isn't so hard to sing for a man, unless you have a squirrel voice, you can easily hit the low parts, the highs are the only tough thing and some FOB songs are worse on these parts

  • @utube146 You're an idiot then because there are so many MALE singers that sing way better than Patrick. And this is only hard for people to sing if you can't sing.

  • @utube146 How can you tell that there's auto tune?

  • @utube146 i can

  • @utube146 I think the craziest range ever displayed in a Fall Out Boy song was in What a Catch, Donnie. I can personally sing this song and hit all the notes (my range is a bass Eb to an A# [2 and 5/8 octave range,]) but I could NEVER sing What a Catch. It's so insane how he jumps that octave yet totally rocks it.

  • @Preevyew I can sing What a Catch, Donnie better than I can sing this song and I have a similar range to you. I find What a Catch a lot easier than this one.

  • @utube146 I can just about manage this song in my range. I usually sing every song an octave lower than it should be sang in but for some reason I can do this one relatively well. Obviously nowhere near as good as the Almight Patrick Stump can as I don't think that anyone will ever do it as well as he did. Also I completely agree with the comment about Live In Phoenix. They should master all of these tracks and release that as a CD.

  • @utube146 live in phoenix was epic. i fuckin love that dvd. i thought they sounded great there..

  • @ST3V3theK1D Heh the DVD looked great, but in the audio sense, the headphones failed to deliver their awesomeness.

  • @utube146 I think Disloyal Order of Water Buffaloes is way harder to sing than this one. Seriously, that song is freaking hard. And (Coffee's for closers) too. We can all agree in "What A Catch, Donnie", that one is a masterpiece. But I agree with you, this how Live In Phoenix should have sounded like.

  • @Delphiumknievel (Coffee's For Closers) is another incredibly hard song to sing, it's like Chest Voice all the way. Disloyal Order Of Water Buffaloes gets hard at the 2nd part of the Chorus, where it may sound easy but it's really hard to sustain all the notes of that chorus without pitching problems, hehe so yeah you're right about that :)

  • @utube146 I know, right! (Coffee's for Closers) is amazing, Patrick really amazes me on that song, indeed he is a great singer.

  • @utube146 is this really autotuned? how could u tell?

  • @360TRiiCKZ Yeah it's definitely autotuned, though the setting is quite low. Nowadays, many music acts do use mild autotune to boost their vocals during a much-demanding live gig. Pop star Lady GaGa also uses mild autotune to achieve that luxurious, electronic timbre during her live performances.

Throughout this performance, Patrick's voice timbre is diminished, most notably at

    1:14 "But I"

    1:26 "Always Know"

3:55 "The last time you came through"

The notes sound like he's underwater.

  • @utube146 I agree but sometimes patricks voice is just weird like that lol. but i agree. is the auto tune like a box or is the microphone going through a computer?

  • @utube146 It's funny how most people are like OMGZ ITZ NOT AUTOTUNEZZ!!!

It obviously is, not like Patrick needs it though

  • @utube146 yes there is!!!!!! me? :P His range isn't that impressive. Brendan Urie can go higher. I'm not hating, I love Patrick. He's one of my favorite singers.

  • @MrGuitarman3900 Yeah, Brendan can go a little higher, but Patrick is worlds ahead on most low notes (still love Brendan, just saying).

  • That`s one of their hardest songs without a shadow of doubt, at least for Patrick to sing it.

  • pat's glasses makes him look lyk he has a freaky unibrow ^.^

but whatever this song is beast and i love fob!!!

  • Comment removed

  • oh darling i know what you're going through (L)

  • i wonder if the husband ever found out

  • @mattgridley It´s proven that he didn´t . Great post

  • pete said fall out boy would deffinatly make music again no clue when but thats waht he said hell ya

  • I heard a Bit of Auto Tune but it's nothing big. Fall Out Boy still Equals Win.Btw R.I.P. Fall Out Boy :(

  • they don't even need autotune, patrick's vocals is alrd so awesome, just watch his warm up videos.

  • okay guys seriously. soundstage makes everyone do autotune. everyone whose ever been on soundstage has to use autotune cuz thats just what the show does...not patricks fault. he doesnt even use it otherwisee..

  • aye joe have a very nice voice too. Did yall here him on 2:52 it sounded amazing how they were in harmony together

  • <3 love patrick!

  • Ummm what's auto-tune. I mean sounds self-explanatory but I'd like to know more.

  • i dont know if it is auto tune or not... but some of the notes sound fake. i know how auto tune works and its possible that he has it. the only reason i think he could be using it, is cause watch fall out boy live at other times. they suck..... look up some videos and see how horribly off tune he goes. i mean to go from that to this is crazy.... i do love fall out boy though

  • Patrick has been asked about auto-tune in an interview. He admitted to using it for ONE song on Take This To Your Grave.

It's all human, man. You can sound amazing sometimes and like crap other times. To say Fall Out Boy sucks live is silly. If you think that go out, form a band, get famous and sound perfect 100% of the time.

  • stop watchin videos from 5 years ago maybe

  • Auto tune is not a patrick stump thing to do live. so everyone who thinks it is auto tune can screw off!!!!!! (HE IS THE BEST!!!)

  • i agree he is the best, but even the best use auto-tune its not a sin its a tool to help u acheive ur best.

  • i fkin LOVE THIS SONG

  • ok I'm completly in love with Patrick voice so I'm not gonna be objective I love it I love it

  • auto-tune or no auto-tune, just enjoy the performance

  • he knows he is using autotune because you can hear it in his voice, use your ears people, i use autotune all the time and he for sure using it

  • he's not using auto tune, some people that are singers actually can sing, that's kinda their job

  • yeah patrick is a very good singing im a huge fan of him but he is using auto tune if you listen closely you can hear it, every note he does is perfect

  • So, you're saying to us that just BECAUSE he's singing pitch perfect that it's auto-tune?

  • yeah, its kinda hard to hit every note perfect when you singing for how long and hitting the notes he is hitting, your voice gets tired, and i use auto tune all the time i know what it sounds like when someone is using it

  • Here's the thing, Auto-Tune makes you sound like a robot. Besides all of that, Fall Out Boy, much like Jay-Z are so anti-auto tune, it hurts. They're all about organic music. And if YOU use Auton-Tune, you're not a musician by any means.

  • here's the thing, you can change the tuning speed of auto tune to make is sound natural, you dont always have to sound like a robot while using auto tune so you have no idea what your talkng about, and when i use auto tune its for fun cause its fun to sound like a robot sometimes, so next time before you try to prove someone wrong, you should actually know what your talking about

  • You're an interesting person. But I disagree with you and both of us don't know for sure if he's actually using Auto-Tune.

  • yeah you are right, we are not 100% sure he is using it, but as far as i can hear in his voice and how perfect he is singing everything i would say he is using autotune, but maybe im wrong who knows

  • I wouldn't put it behind him completely because as amazing as his singing is, he has been known to waver from time to time in other shows.

  • yeah, he is probably one of the best male singers around today, he is definatly my favorite, but it is a big live show and he would want to sound as good as possible

  • @grk5555 he's using autotune.

  • yeah i know he is

  • @JohnRock220 , patrick writes and plays music...that makes him a musician, and pat isnt the best singer ofcourse hes gonna used auto tune, and most singers do use it, they are still very good without it but better with it, and it doesnt make u any less of a musician. but if u abosolutley CANNOT sing and u use auto tune only for u to sound good then u are not a musician by any means..

  • @JohnRock220 Woah, I could somewhat agree with your comment up until the last line "if YOU use Auto-Tune, you're not a musician by any means"

Pretty bold claim. So apparently Cher isn't a musician? Eiffel 65, Daft Punk, Chris Brown, none of them are musicians either then since they've used Autotune as an effect? I hope you were replying to grk5555 when you said "You" and you weren't generalizing and bashing every single artist that's ever used Autotune...

  • well Chris Brown is by far a talentless wife beating piece of shit

  • @fobfan35

He is a wife beating piece of shit, but i

    wouldn't say he's COMPLETELY talentless.

  • How do u know its auto tune? it sounds like an echo to me.

    btw, 1:44 - 1:53 is orgasmic. ^-^

  • damn, joe has a good voice at 2:52

  • lol... there's nothing to worry about. Patrick is a great singer. U r hearing it now becuz he is not jumping about the place like a kangaroo (even tho u doesnt really jump). which is y i think these performance (at soundstage) or the best quality i have ever heard from them. Cuz jumping does make them tired, which will affect their playing :)

  • i hope so, Patrick is hitting his high notes reallllly well.

  • i love this performance but its fishy.... his voice is a bit too perfect

  • they got old, i mean pete is 30... they will prbbly make one or two more albums..

  • what happend to Joe? COME ON JUMP .. Like before D:

wow.. they was nedeed a break..

I hope they will come back soon D:

  • surely this is their best song?

  • auto tune live makes me sad

  • how do you know they used auto tune?? plus, they have been getting better at singing live

  • @ShagLark69 cuz you can hear it throughout the whole song.

  • ooooh! look! see joes hat?! throughout the whole show... it keeps dissappearing and reappearing! wierd!

  • gotta love petes moon boots

  • Is Joe Trohman Using A John 5 Signature Fender Telecaster?

  • wow great song

  • joe singing at 2:52 ?

awesome! he should do more backup vocals

  • patrick is awesome

  • Pete...just, just shut up

  • Joe is so shy now..

  • yeah and now andy is talkative...whats going on?!

  • I think joe enjoys there older stuff.

But then again there on PBS and you gotta calm down a bit.

    but joe is too calm..

  • this is on pbs?!? woah lol and yeah joe has calmed down alot lately... lame!!

  • i know!! i miss the old joe so much!!!

  • Yeah but there's a positive correlation between less running and spinning and more hitting notes properly and playing well lol. I can work with that.

  • yeah but they were still playing the right notes before! what happened to fob??!?!?!

  • Well if you compare the PBS soundstage stuff to their Live in Phoenix CD, they improved a LOT for sure.

  • it is true technically they are better but it's a rock show. it's not supposed to be perfect. high energy is part of their act. it's what drew people to them. while their later music is a lot more complicated they don't have to tone it down that much. like joe's sedated when they're playing sugar on soundstage! sugar is super easy!

  • @danno12277 its the world's end ):

  • @LANDONisFUCKINGweird its cause the fro's gone

  • Exelente Video!!! Saludos desde Colombia!

  • LOVE FOB, but seriously Patrick's eyebrows were so damn scary I had to scroll down so I wouldnt see them!!!

  • i think its the lights hitting his glasses

  • playback? what a stupid...

  • i think this is Playback :S

  • Joe did a harmony! lol

  • I believe that is the first time that has legitimately happened...best part of this video (besides patrick)

  • dude !!!WOW!!!

  • Wow! I'm wondering if all that touring earlier this year helped Patrick perfect this live, because this compared to December 16's performance in Chicago.. it's just amazing. Rock on Patrick XD

  • i think patricks voice has gotten better live. on the live in phoenix dvd, his voice was "okay". but this performance was excellent. good job patrick :]

  • check my vids and see them play this song live in auckland NZ , so much better than this one,,,,, dunno patricks heart didnt seem in this performance??? let me know ...

  • wow!wow! that was seriously amazing!! I love it!

  • Thats amazing! I love this song!
