Its a text based game GOD DAMMIT! Runescape and WoW are 3D games. This is not even the same type as thoughs two! But in terms of text based mmorpg (or tbmmorpg) it seems to beat the others so far. Plus, since it is text based, HOW THE FRECK WILL IT HAVE MUSIC? Its just silent most of the time. No, all the time. So if you don't know the diffrence between a text based game and a 3D game, don't even dare compare them. Its like comparing Super Mario to a piece of paper. It just does not work.

I dropped out after 2 years of playing the game because of college (And seriously it developed so much while I retired) But I'm still in my guild that I co-helped to re-build, I'm only around level 328, but I still pop in once in a while. FallenSword (FS) is amazing because of the People who play. And the combat isn't random, this reviewer doesn't know anything, his stats are crapper than the guy he fought so obviously he missed. FS doesn't need to be like other games. FS came out around 2003.

I'm sorry to say but I started Fallensword in 2007, and I loved it, was addicted but that was simply because I had an incredible guild that I joined as soon as I went into the game. This Guy I have to say doesn't give this game justice, it seems simple, yeah, but to get to the top it's hard and lots of people drop out simply because they just can't manipulate the system in the game. Seriously, I helped build up a guild to have some amazing foundations to reach the level it is now.

Decent review, but you only scratched the surface. Joining a guild you could have been better equipped. The PvP Arena, Bounty Board and Guild vs Guild is where a lot of players spend their time.
