Hey Gabrielle, I think you owe Democracy Now! a big thank you. I heard you there and had to track you down. Judging by the comments it looks like I'm one of many. Glad I discovered you, thanks for sharing and looking forward to seeing you in Minneapolis. You might want to hold off though. We are at this moment getting our first snow of the season.
Puts corporate shill rapsters of today with their faux rebellious laughable diatribe on the "inequalities of modern society" to shame. Seriously. Jay Z? get the fuck out of my face. Shill. Period.
Until a few hours ago, I must confess, I had never heard of Gabrielle Louise, much less this song. And had it not been aired on Democracy Now!, I would probably never have heard of it either, for here in Hyderabad, India, American music of this sort is rarely heard. But, now that I have, I must say that it is one of the best songs I have ever heard. The lyrics, the music, the voice, everything just came together and felt just right. I absolutely loved it. Thank you for sharing it with the world.
I heard a bit of this song on DemocracyNow!.org today, and was immediately smitten. I wrote the name of the artist on the back of my hand to look her up later. Love the song and video=)
LOVE THE SONG! but I will not lie, the sound quality is terrible on this video, its hard to discern your amazing lyrics.
