@AprilMarcoux are you saying that the system of a down remix is similar to skrillex aswell? cause i reckon that song is similar to that little dubstep part in flo ridas good feeling, unless thats skrillex with flo rida. i reckon the byob mix is too groovy and organized to be skrillex but im only basing this on the skrillex that ive heard which has way more sounds going on at once.

Eh keep it cool, everyone in the industry right now using massive ableton and has a laptop is going to wind up sounding like that kid. I like this dudes sound very different from skrillex. I don't really hear much of a similarity EVERYONE has potential if you study and put your work in. Thats the name of the game. So please my friend, KEEP DOING YOU because THATS what YOUR best at. @dubstepgutter, I listened to your system of a down remix also and think you're really quite good but if you want to further your career and make your own mark as a DJ i would suggest finding your own sound as your music is eerily similar to Skrillex, and we already have a skrillex. It's clear you know what your doing, and i would like to hear more of it definately. No offense intended, just some feedback, but keep going with it

@AprilMarcoux Dude shut up. His style is perfect. Nothing like skrillex. Stop getting inside this poor kids head--now he's concerned about your stupid opinion. For example, the new song "Nerd Rage" is good, but the Aerosmith & system of a Down tracks are amazing. Get lost man. This dude has amazing potential. I never heard anything like this before. I been up all night listening to this from 3am to 7am! This style is better than whatever crap your trying to get him to switch to.

@AprilMarcoux Have you heard Skrillex? The only similarity is Skrillex uses a wub sound, but that's a standard dubstep sound.

1.) Skrillex isn't shit. He's not the best, but he put effort into his music.

2.) Wub sounds have been used before Skrillex. It's a standard sound with several variations. It's like bashing most rock bands because they have drums.

3.) This guy uses samples with a different sound than what Skrillex would use. This almost sounds a little jazzy at times.

4.) The only criticism I have is the wub feels like it should be more bassy at times and the song can be a tad repetitive.
