@WARFOX101 Okay I need some advice here since I am new to this water cooling stuff. I just bought the Thermaltake SR200 with P500 Water Pump, Big Coolant 1000CC and 3/8" tubing. I notice you have a radiator on your PC. Do I have to get that also to dissipate heat from the liquid?
@VergilX20 Yes you need a radiator. depending on what you are cooling will determine what size radiator to use. If you plan on cooling a single CPU go with a single 120mm rad with fan. I would recommend the ThermalTake TMG1, If you look close you will see it on the back of the case. Just ask if you need help with any thing i will be glad to help.
I want to cool my GPU with this sytem. Im going to buy the thermaltake SR200 with the tank+pump. I dont want to cool my CPU with this tho, im using an ECO for that. Would i still have to buy the WB 200 North Bridge Water Block? Or could i just do tank to radiator, radiator to GPU, and GPU to tank/pump?
@Dange543 Not often at all. Maybe an oz or two every two or three months however i could let it go for over a year with out adding. Once a year i drain it and flush the system with vinegar.
@lVleSHuGGA 4 pin and a 3 pin, I took my 4 pin molex of,f and am using my 3pin plugged into the CPU header so i can get a rpm reading. I no longer have this system i have upgraded to a core I7 build. But i still use this pump check out my other vids:)
@WARFOX101 btw would you recommend this pump and stuff for first time real watercool? i have H50 atm and i got 2 scythe fans 3 antec and 1 coolermaster fan and its loud as hell lol
@lVleSHuGGA Yes i would its a great pump and res for first time watercooler. i would not recommend it for a multi waterblock system like mine, i will be replacing this pump and res with a EK setup. But for just a cpu waterblock and maybe a north and south bridge it should do fine.
What is the second water block on your motherboard (Next to the CPU) for? Is it cooling the northbridge?
