I've built my own system like a year ago and every time it boots up i have to press F1 so it starts booting the windows! what do i need to do so that my computer will boot automatically without me pressing F1 all the time???
so if I had my Primary Hard Drive using SATA and I want to install 1 IDE hard drive with nothing else using the IDE cable, do I still install the IDE hard drive in the MASTER even though it's a storage hard drive?
Yeah whats whit the pin ? I thought you just need to connect it to the master/slave cable, power etc. and its done, since i don't have that pin i dunno what to do :( is that pin really necesarry ?
Oh, now come on.. was he so pressed for time he couldn't do a re-take when he messed up right at the beginning?
And what? The "green PVC or chips?" You're supposed to be studying electrical engineering for feck's sake!
But for his credit, he did explain jumpers decently. Except I know for a fact that not all hard drives have the key on the PCB (or PVC?), that's how you confuse people.
Just wanted to say a Big thanks for your videos I watched, it was very useful in giving me the confidence to add a HD something I've never been confident to do
i have the same exact hard drive!
