if you get the netbook edition of ubuntu (from the ubuntu website) all of the wacom drivers and others come pre-installed, the interface is even different (when booting on a tc1100) than to the normal netbook edition, the desktop for easyer tablet pc pen controls.
How did you get the driver for the PEN, I'm not an expert of UBUNTU, but I think it is the only way to save this hardware... Thanks for the help.
