  • dont listen to B.S the metallic clic is gas with not a lot of octane, you have to use Super Unleaded on M's and it will go away just try it.............

  • sry but your M5 looks like a piece of shit .

  • bad ass car love it this is a proper m5

  • WHO! puts a spoiler on a M5? It's not a Honda, great way to ruin a great car dumbass.

  • @LRTWR err BMW Motorsport & AC Schnitzer on their road cars,it works in harmony with the roof spoiler to create more downforce at around 140mph+.

You ever been that quick on your push bike, nah thought not..keep saving dreamer, you might scape enough money to buy an old 525i & stick an M5 badge on it!!!Until then, keep cracking them off to other peoples cars dude..

  • @Daggerpie69 Funny. I have an E39 M5 with eisenmann exaust system. Left exterior stock, as it should be. Putting a spoiler on a bmw is wrong and it looks awfull, takes away all the class, which you obviously don't have. AC Schnitzer, Hamann and all those tuners just ruin cars, they just throw a bunch of plastic on there and make the car look hidious.

  • Love the rims not to mention the sound

  • Love the rims not to mention the sound

  • Sounds great, but it looks ruined.

  • hey mate you are driveing in the wrong side of the road

  • This is a nice vid. Its pretty mellow but badass Euro Sound. VERY GOOD!!!!!! I am an avid BMW fan, these people know how to design and build cars....from the ground up.

  • You got a reaaally nice 2K Schnitzer rear diffuser! That's the proper way to waste money! =)

  • @tubukur1 amen! snatched mine "used",. love it every morning.

  • pss9's from bilstein rules,so much better then the kw variants, ive heard that from many people so i went with bilstein pss9 to en never had regrets, best suspension ever made.

  • Wondering...I'm running a stock e39 M5 and I get that metallic "click" when I blip the throttle that you can hear here at 0.45. A mechanic (don't know if he was any good or not) told me it sounded like a bearing gone somewhere. Any ideas/comments?

  • Thats weird u mention that, someone commented on this vid b4 about the magic "click". I never really noticed at the time but someone did mention it could be the Vanos. Still KIC with the chap i sold it too and no probs. Not sure about the bearing comment, worth asking the question on Mtorque or M5board.

    Good luck fella.

  • Cheers, will have a chat with the good folks at M5Board.

  • That is spark knock. Higher octane will get rid of it.

  • It certainly isn't a bearing... I'll tell you that much.

My own E39 M5 does the exact same thing on low revs, as well as a mate of mine's - I actually suspect it to be pinging on sudden load, which results in a timing pull / VANOS cam retard.

  • A common thing to tell if someone is an idiot or not is telling them "seems as though your exhaust bearing may have gone out" and/or "we checked your blinker fluid and it was low so we topped it off." small town mechanic's do this alot to see if they have any clue about car's and see how much they can charge the owner. Beware of shitty people. I always thought the click had to do with timing and the flow of the exhaust gases.

  • nice car with an epic noise.

i was wondering what did you think of the KW V3 suspension? is it a reccomended setup? and is the adjustment of damping and compression and ride height easy to do or can it get fidly? i have been looking at new coilovers for my car and the KW v3 look to be very good

  • Best set up by far, rears were a pain to install but well worth it. Gave it a few weeks to settle in then got it set up properly for my driving style. I was running 19's as well so not the most comfortable of rides but it felt sooooooo planted compared to standard. Expensive but worth it.

V2's are reccomended as well and work out slightly cheaper. Best of luck fella..

  • Thanx man, needs must and all that im afraid! Kept the plate tho so its another excuse to build one the same..yes yess

  • sounds too much like everyones stang. i like the hartage exhaust better. still sounds good though. and looks great!

  • and the kelleners :)

  • what exhaust do you recomend for a 328is

  • depends on which variant & what you wanna spend, e46 or new e90?

  • the older one and around 1500 or anythng lower

  • the 328is was never made in e46 variant, only a 328i. sounds like you got an even earlier e36 car. tbh, sell it and get an M3, you can get them to sound a lot sweeter.

  • had a Rouge short shift kit fitted and that used to "click" into gear, tbh im not sure what that 0.44 noise is tho, perhaps you're right, never really noticed it before

  • judging by the pre-ignition, i think you have a vanos issue.

  • tubi is used for ferraris too

  • so sexy

  • nice:)

  • sweet!

  • That's amazing!

  • nice m5, AC Schnitzer is the best ;). I'm sure the sound is great IRL, my friend has an E39 M5 with custom exhaust :). check out my e34 schnitzer m5 on my videos if you want!
