And as an alternative, take them to the vets and get them put to sleep by injection- much quicker and painless. Imagine how traumatising it would be for them to be drowned! I imagine I will be thumbed-down, but- you know they are just puppies. The value of life is ambiguous, arbitrary- especially that of a non-human. I kill bugs all the time. We set mousetraps to kill mice. Why do people feel they get to determine the value of each different species by punishing her in various ways. You killed a bug- no worries. You killed a rat- It's cool. You kill a puppy? Community service. A kitten? Death by fire. People get riled up over nothing. Just a dog.
